The production of this script is excellent! There are suprises at every turn, and I haven't laughed so hard since "Airplane!" Debbie Rachon and the all star cast keep your eyes glued to the screen, as this sexy, funny, story unfolds. This is a truly worthy production that is clearly created by top professionals. The science fiction scenes are hilarious, and the anticipation for what's around the corner with the girls kept my attention going strong. This one will be big.
I just watched this movie yesterday and after 2 years of anticipation. I loved every minute of it. Paul Scrabo did a magnificent job with the script and directing. Debbie Rochon and Trent Haaga had me on the floor laughing my butt off! This is pure entertainment and anyone that doesn't agree, needs to watch it again. It entertained me for nearly 2 and half hours! I really couldn't take my eyes off the screen. Please, anyone who reads this, buy this movie when it's officially released. It's definitely worth your time. It's better than the comedies that Hollywood's puts out and that's something. I give it a 10!!! Best flick in years!!!!
I had bought this film at a Chiller convention a while back, but never watched it. I know I got it from Debbie Rochon who said it was a very special film. Having just watched the entire DVD, it was indeed a big surprise. There is way too much plot to go into, but let me just say the the entire world of cult-horror-b-movies-erotic is joked about. I'm a fan of Trent Haaga and he is at his best here as a dead-again type zombie. Lots of stars appear including Zacherley! As for the humor, it goes from generally funny to incredibly inspired, but it helps if you are familiar with what the film is poking fun of. Also should mention Brinke Stevens here. The film is filled with references to her, and didn't realize until I looked at the box that she was a co-writer on this movie! There is a section that spoofs her film "Hybrid" and it had me on the floor laughing. I feel this is kind of a breakthrough film for her and very neat to have one 'scream queen' writing the lines for another! Back to my favorite Debbie Rochon though, she is treated like a real movie star in this film, can't explain but glides effortlessly through the whole film. Throughout the story, someone always asks where the erotic parts of the movie are, as if winking at ourselves at the cheap erotic movies. I don't think the movie is erotic at all but it's really funny.

Okay, I might be biased as I'm in it (for some reason), but this movie is a fun, fast-paced and outstanding love letter to the b-movie industry. Debbie Rochon, Michael R. Thomas, Rachael Robbins, Trent Haaga, Amy Lynn Best, Tina Krause - even Conrad Brooks! - are all outstanding. This movie is highly recommended for fans of low-budget horror and comedy.

Many of the "Independent Movies" I sit through every year are made by people so driven to make a statement that they forget one very important thing - they should entertain the audience as well. Paul Scrabo doesn't forget this. In fact the only message in "Dr. Horror's Erotic House Of Idiots" is; if you're going to see a doctor and he isn't in; don't talk to his "substitute", leave immediately! This movie is clever and funny - tears rolling down your cheeks funny at times. At 130 minutes it may be the longest comedy since Stanley Kramer's "MAD MAD WORLD" but it doesn't drag. It moves along briskly and never loses your interest. As a tip of the hat to the grand old days of "roadshow" movies like "MAD WORLD", there's an overture, intermission, and exit music! It's all about showmanship. Oh yes, and an inflatable doll. No pretentious metaphors here. It's just an enjoyable celebration of the fun that "B Movies" are.
I knew nothing about this movie except that it had a great title, so I couldn't resist picking it up. It was nothing like I expected. It was much, much better and deserves much higher votes than indicated on the IMDb. I was consistently entertained by the whole DVD and want to congratulate Debbie Rochon for her superb job. The section where she is married to zombie Trebt Haaga is hysterical! So much goes on in this film that much is easy to miss, but I really liked the parody of "To Dance With Death" ( a BAD Brinke Stevens film!) and the finale with Debbie as a "Perfect Woman". Michael Thomas is perfect with his Bela Lugosi impression and even Zacherley has a part in the movie. Highly recommended!
