Join Luke, Han and Chewbacca in their fierce war against the evil Empire. Battle treacherous aliens. Pilot two vehicles in high-speed, fight your way through the wastelands of Tatooine to the hostile streets of Mos Eisley and beyond.

Star Wars comes to life on the Super Nintendo. The fourth chapter in the soon to be completed Star Wars trilogy. As the scene sets, a Star Destroyer is firing at a Rebel Blockade Runner, and an escape pod jettisons to the planet beneath them, a desert world by the name of Tattooine. Inside the pod are bickering droid buddies C-3PO and R2-D2. Meanwhile down on the planet, a young boy named Luke Skywalker, destined to one day be a Jedi Knight, battles off Womp Rats, giant Scorpions, and even the giant Sarlacc pit monster in the Dune Sea. After that, Luke encounters the crashed escape pod and C-3PO telling him Jawas captured R2-D2, so they race to the Jawa Sandcrawler in Luke's speeder. Watch out for Jawas and Womp Rats! The next trick will be getting inside the Sandcrawler while avoiding guns, moving platforms and Jawas. Inside, beware! Jawas, Droids, and other hazardous traps await you. After you rescue R2-D2 (who claims to be the property of General Kenobi), whom you meet later. He claims to be THE Obi-Wan Kenobi, veteran of the Clone Wars. Obi-Wan views R2-D2's message from Princess Leia, then he and Luke find a pilot that can take them to the Princess's homeworld, Alderaan. They meet a swashbuckling smuggler named Han Solo and his co-pilot Chewbacca who agree to fly them to Alderaan. But en route they're captured by the Death Star, so they must find their way out, rescue the Princess, be cautious of the treacherous trash compactor, deactivate the tractor beam and get away from the Death Star. Next, Luke joins a band of Rebels who fly X-Wings up to destroy the Death Star, but be careful! TIE Fighters are on your tail. Just remember the words of Obi-Wan Kenobi, "the force will be with you.
