Zendaya is Meechee, Chani, and Tashi, but now she will be... Felicia, a.k.a. Shrek's daughter in Shrek 5. Shrek 5 is slated to hit theaters in December 2026, marking 16 years since everyone's favorite ogre graced the silver screen with his own feature film. Shrek 5 has easily become one of the most anticipated movies of 2026 and now has the added advantage of an entire generation who grew up with the original Shrek movies now being old enough to be some of Hollywood's newly established actors who would leap at the chance to join the franchise.
It appears one A-lister joining the Shrek franchise is Zendaya. The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Zendaya has joined the cast of Shrek 5 as Shrek's daughter Felicia, first seen in Shrek the Third. The character will now be a full-grown teenager in the upcoming sequel. Universal Pictures released an official video revealing the cast,...

Perhaps one of the most bizarre, crude and satirical trilogies of all time, Austin Powerswas a deliberate jab at the serious and suave world of the genre. Yet, despite being a complete spoof, the films still had a huge impact on the genre, even completely changing it in parts. In fact, their success helped usher in a new era of spy films, where humor and parody became just as important as the action.
However, Austin Powers’ impact wasn’t just felt by future parodies, like Johnny English. It also changed the trajectory of James Bond, forcing the franchise to confront its own absurdities and reinvent itself, leading to a more realistic and serious 007. In the wake of Powers’ rise, the once-unshakable glamour and campy fun of Bond became, ironically, a thing of the past. But the question remains – can the spy genre ever find the same balance between action...

Ozzy Osbourne once had the chance to audition for Pirates of the Caribbean, but Sharon Osbourne prevented it from happening. Speaking on The Magnificent Others With Billy Corgan podcast, she admitted that she turned down the opportunity, a decision she now regrets.
“Do you want to know the biggest mistake I ever made with Ozzy?” she said. “He got offered to go and read for Pirates of the Caribbean—and I’ve never said this to anyone.”
Billy Corgan reacted with surprise, asking if she had refused the offer. Sharon confirmed, saying, “I said no. Now, wouldn’t he have been perfect?”
She pointed out that Johnny Depp had brought Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones into the franchise as Captain Teague, Jack Sparrow’s father. Corgan joked that there was still time for Ozzy to take on a film role.
The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has generated over $4.5 billion worldwide.

Ozzy Osbourne once had a chance to join the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
Sharon Osbourne was a guest on a recent episode of The Magnificent Others With Billy Corgan podcast, where she revealed that her husband was offered to read for the film, and she regrets stopping it.
“Do you want to know the biggest mistake I ever made with Ozzy?” Sharon said to the host before adding, “He got offered to go and read for Pirates of the Caribbean — and I’ve never said this to anyone.”
Corgan, who looked shocked, asked, “And you said no?,” to which Sharon confirmed, saying, “I said no. Now, wouldn’t he have been perfect?”
The pair laughed at what could’ve been and Sharon noted, “Because when Johnny [Depp] … wanted Keith to be a pirate, you remember?”

Austin Powers and Shrek star Mike Myers has revealed that he never wanted to make a sequel to one of his best-loved comedies. No, he’s not talking about Austin Powers in Goldmember or Shrek the Third, but the 1993 comedy follow-up Wayne's World 2. Discussing the development of the sequel with Vulture recently, Myers said that he did not want to make the second installment in the two-movie saga about rock fans and public-access TV hosts Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar.
"I didn’t want to do a second one. I didn’t think it necessitated a sequel. I spent a tremendous amount of time with Austin Powers determining why we wanted the audience to come back. We wanted to honor them for having seen the first one and then the first two. … I didn’t know why ‘Wayne’s World’ needed to come back.”

More than 25 years later, Mike Myers is breaking down the basis for one of his most quotable characters.
Although he admitted Lorne Michaels provided some inspiration, the Saturday Night Live alum revealed that the Austin Powers villain Dr. Evil was originally based on another more specific character reference.
“No, it was Donald Pleasence forever,” he told Vulture, referring to the actor’s performance as Ernst Stavro Blofeld in the 1967 James Bond film You Only Live Twice.
Myers said there was “just a little tiny overlay” with the SNL creator, for whom he worked on the NBC sketch comedy show from 1989 to 1995.
“I’m Canadian. He’s Canadian. He had an educated Canadian accent, and I have a Scarborough accent,” he explained. “One time he goes, ‘Mike, do you want to come up to the Hamptons?’ I was like, ‘Am I fired?’ I went, and it was like, ‘That’s Mick’s room,...

Yeah, baby, yeah! Or perhaps Maybe, baby, maybe! is more fitting. As Mike Myers gears up to return to the swamp with Shrek 5, we can’t help but wonder if one of his other trademark characters, Austin Powers, will be making a randy return to the screen. And while nothing is on the docket just yet, Myers isn’t ruling it out.
When pressed if Austin Powers would return in a fourth installment, Mike Myers told TooFab after some hesitation, “I would be surprised if it didn’t.” Myers has spoken of an Austin Powers 4 before, saying he would absolutely love to do it. But with nothing in the pipeline, Myers really hasn’t had much of anything to go on. At the same time, even though Shrek 5 is set for a June 1st, 2026 release, Myers wouldn’t fork over any details on that movie, either, saying,...

Jim Abrahams, part of the writing-directing-producing team behind such comedy touchstones as Airplane!, the Naked Gun films, and Police Squad!, died Tuesday at his Santa Monica home. He was 80.
His son, Joseph Abrahams, confirmed the news to our sister site The Hollywood Reporter.
Along with brothers David and Jerry Zucker, Abrahams also was behind laugh-inducing — and often intentionally groan-inducing — comedy films including Top Secret! and the Top Gun spoofs Hot Shots! and Hot Shots! Part Deux. Students of the Mel Brooks School of Anything for a Laugh, the trio paired absurd situations with deadpan lines and fueled Leslie Nielsen’s unlikely rise to leading man after 30 years in the business.
The trio got their big-screen start writing The Kentucky Fried Movie (1977), a series of decidedly un-pc vignettes directed by John Landis that ranged from silly to uproarious to “what the hell?!” and back. Sample: A TV news anchor deadpans from...

It is impossible to overstate Quincy Jones' influence on music and the music business throughout the second half of the 20th century. There wasn't a genre that Jones, who passed away yesterday at the age of 91, couldn't master as a composer, producer, performer, or all three. He kicked off his career playing trumpet for vibraphone god Lionel Hampton, served as trumpeter and music director for Dizzy Gillespie, and produced effervescent pop hits like "It's My Party" for Lesley Gore while expanding his range compositionally via jazz LPs and, perhaps most importantly, film music -- a field where the African-American artist stood out among a sea of white men.
Curiously, there isn't as much serious scholarship on the work of Jones, which is rather astounding considering his seismic 1970s and '80s impact as a producer for Michael Jackson on two of the top-selling LPs of all time ("Off the Wall...

At 91 and with more than 70 years(!) in the industry, Michael Caine has obviously come across some of the most powerful talents to ever hit the screen. But one that stood out even at the start of his career was Tom Cruise, who Michael Caine remembers as a dynamic, eager up-and-comer who wanted to make a name in Hollywood.
Speaking with The Sunday Times, Michael Caine recalled the first time he met Tom Cruise. “I’ve known Tom for more than 40 years. We were doing a big event for Educating Rita (1983) and I turned around and there was this young actor, very polite, asking questions about how not to be just a flash in the pan. That was Tom, probably around the time of Risky Business.” Keep in mind that Cruise was just now trying to get his movie stardom going, with 1983 being his real breakout year after supporting roles in...

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice: Michael Keaton’s character from the Tim Burton franchise was essentially summoned from across the TV talk-show landscape on Halloween with hosts on NBC’s Today show, the syndicated Live With Kelly and Mark and The Kelly Clarkson Show all dressing up as the ghost with the most.
On Thursday’s Today, Al Roker dressed up as Beetlejuice and Dylan Dreyer dressed as Winona Ryder’s Lydia Deetz. And on Live With Kelly and Mark later Thursday morning, Kelly Ripa took on Deetz with Mark Consuelos sporting the Beetlejuice ensemble.
Kelly Clarkson also donned a Beetlejuice costume on her eponymous daytime talk show. She kicked off the show with a spooky Kellyoke of “Banana Boat (Day-o).”
While Beetlejuice made a number of apperances on Thursday, Consuelos and Ripa changed costumes multiple times throughout this year’s Only Murders in the Building-inspired “Only Halloween in the Building” Halloween show.

It’s fitting that the first look at Jonathan Eusebio’s Love Hurts came in the same week as John Wick’s 10th anniversary. Eusebio, who’s affectionately known as “JoJo,” met Wick co-directors David Leitch and Chad Stahelski at a martial arts school in the early ‘90s, and the two stunt performers turned filmmakers have taken Eusebio under their wings ever since. It was quite a career pivot for someone who majored in biological sciences at Uc Irvine, but it wasn’t completely unforeseen considering Eusebio’s two first loves were martial arts and Hong Kong action cinema.
Eusebio then climbed the ranks, working on the stunt teams for features like Blade II (2002) and Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002). He then gained more and more responsibility through roles such as the assistant fight coordinator on The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) to the actual fight coordinator on Iron Man 2 (2010) and The Avengers (2012).

Austin Powers may be a hilarious character, but the many hilarious Dr. Evil quotes show the villain of the Mike Myers franchise is even funnier. Spoofing 1960s spy movies, including the James Bond franchise, the Austin Powers trilogy showcases the fight between the titular spy and his nemesis Dr. Evil. The trilogy Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, and Austin Powers in Goldmember pokes fun at typical spy thriller tropes. However, while there are tons of great Austin Powers quotes, it's the Dr. Evil quotes that many consider much more memorable.
Both Austin Powers characters are played by Mike Myers, with the comedic actor showing his incredible talent to disappear into both roles. In the "The Simpsons" episode "Brother from the Same Planet", Homer (Dan Castellaneta) forgets about Bart (Nancy Cartwright) at soccer practice, leaving him to wait for many hours. Bart, as he often does, accuses Homer of being a terrible father, and seeks revenge by submitting his name to the Bigger Brother agency (a riff on Big Brothers Big Sisters of America) hoping to find a new temporary guardian to care for him. Bart is paired with a charming, caring man named Tom (Phil Hartman), an ultra-cool test pilot. Tom is gentle and attentive, and Bart enjoys the time they spend together. Bart eventually starts to feel guilty, though, when he realizes Tom's time could be spent caring for a more disadvantaged child than he.

Sherwood Schwartz's 1964 sitcom "Gilligan's Island" was a pop-cultural powerhouse, attracting a mass audience larger than any of the CBS executives expected. While many critics and audience members criticized the show for being silly, unrealistic, and simplistic, it nonetheless lasted for three hit seasons, and was put into eternal syndication, staying alive in reruns for decades. What's more, the series warranted numerous TV movie sequels and spinoffs, including a 1981 TV movie wherein Gilligan (Bob Denver) and the other castaways met the Harlem Globetrotters -- called, helpfully, "The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island" -- and an animated series wherein the castaways became stranded on a distant planet (!). Yes, "Gilligan's Planet" is a thing.
The spinoffs retained all the original cast members, with the exception of Tina Louise, whose character, Ginger, was played by various other actors. Curiously, the Globetrotters movie was the last time an original "Gilligan's Island" project graced the screen.

The project, which is cloaked in secrecy, has aligned an impressive ensemble, with Rebecca Ferguson, Idris Elba, Jared Harris, Greta Lee, Anthony Ramos, Tracy Letts, Moses Ingram and Gabriel Basso all set to appear in the movie. The impact of a cameo can be positive or negative, depending on whether it fits the film's tone and narrative. Some cameos, like Jay and Silent Bob's appearance in Scream 3, didn't make sense and distracted from the story. David Beckham's cameo in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword falls flat, as his acting skills struggled to match his soccer fame.
The movie cameo is a staple of cinema. Whether its a familiar face showing up out of the blue (Stan Lee appeared in every single MCU movie up to Avengers: Endgame) or a whole film apparently devoted to showcasing as many cameos as possible (everybody remembers the opening sequence for Austin Powers in Goldmember), the atmosphere in the movie theater is likely to light up when an unexpected star appears.

According to Deadline, the book’s rights have been snapped up by Universal Pictures, who are in talks with Jon M Chu to direct a film adaptation.
Given the amount of music that will be in the film, Chu is a strong choice. He’s helmed both parts of Wicked, the long awaited film adaptation of Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman’s Broadway play, which stars Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jeff Goldblum and Michelle Yeoh. Wicked: Part One arrives in UK cinemas on the 22nd November.

"Austin Powers" is arguably one of the most beloved comedy movie franchises in history. Beginning with "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery" in 1997, Mike Myers helped craft a James Bond spoof that came at just the right time, with "GoldenEye" reviving 007 to kick off Pierce Brosnan's tenure with the character. For as much as the movie is remembered, it actually didn't top the box office when it opened -- the film lost out to an oft-forgotten Kurt Russell thriller.
Directed by Jonathan Mostow, "Breakdown" centers on a married couple Jeff (Kurt Russell) and Amy Taylor (Kathleen Quinlan) who run into some car trouble as they're driving across the country. A passing truck driver offers to help, and that's where things go wrong; Amy goes missing, leading Jeff on a chase to find her. In a 2021 interview with Forbes, Mostow recalled the film's opening weekend, as it was in a...

TV and film actor Brian Tee has signed with Verve and Authentic Talent & Literary Management for representation.
Tee recently starred alongside Nicole Kidman in the limited series “Expats,” directed by Lulu Wang for Prime Video. Up next, he will appear in Season 3 of Prime Video’s action series “Reacher” alongside star Alan Ritchson.
Widely known for his role as Dr. Ethan Choi for eight seasons in NBC’s popular Dick Wolf medical drama “Chicago Med,” Brian recently returned to the series to direct an episode for its current season.
“It was not necessarily an easy yes,” he told Variety in 2023 about returning to helm an episode. “I’m sure there’s a bit of a hesitation. But I think everyone has known that I’ve been wanting to do this. It wasn’t just something new, out of the blue. It’s been something I’ve been working toward.

Jeannette Charles played Queen Elizabeth II in more than a dozen different movie and TV titles. Some of the most prominent projects featuring Charles' Queen Elizabeth were The Naked Gun, The Parent Trap, and Saturday Night Live. Charles also played nonspecific queens in titles such as The Rutles and Austin Powers in Goldmember.
Jeannette Charles has played British royal Queen Elizabeth II more than a dozen times over her three-and-a-half-decade onscreen career. Charles, who died at the age of 96 on June 2, 2024, has 40 credits to her name after making her small screen debut in 1974. Of those credits, 17 involved portraying Queen Elizabeth II in some capacity, while 17 more saw her play queens meant to represent Queen Elizabeth II, meaning that a full 85% of her career involved playing the same role many times over.

Jeannette Charles, an actress whose uncanny resemblance to Queen Elizabeth II launched a movie career that included scene-stealing moments in National Lampoon’s European Vacation, The Naked Gun, and Austin Powers sequel Goldmember, died June 2 at a care home in Great Beddow in Essex, England. She was 96.
Her death was announced by daughter Carol Christophi to UK publications The Mirror and The Standard. “Mum was a real character and a force of nature,” Christophi said in a statement. “She had an amazing life.” In an interview with UK radio station Lbc, Christophi said, “She was always respectful of the Queen and adored the Royal Family. We will miss her dearly.”
In a 2022 essay for The Guardian, Charles explained how she began her career as a lookalike. “Before I had children,” she wrote, “I’d worked as an au pair and a typist, but I’d always wanted to act. I’d been in amateur productions,...

Jeannette Charles, the Queen Elizabeth II look-alike who played the British monarch for laughs in National Lampoon’s European Vacation, in the first Naked Gun movie and in the last Austin Powers film, has died. She was 96.
Charles died Sunday at a hospice facility in Great Baddow, Essex, England, her daughter, Carol Christophi, announced. “Mum was a real character and a force of nature. She had an amazing life,” she said. “She was always respectful of the queen and adored the royal family.”
Queen Elizabeth II died in September 2022, also at age 96.
Charles spent more than four decades doubling for the head of state before she wound down her career in 2014.

Jeanette Charles, Queen Elizabeth Lookalike Actress From The Naked Gun and Austin Powers, Dead at 96
Jeanette Charles, a British actress famous for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth in countless films and television series including The Naked Gun, National Lampoon’s European Vacation, and Austin Powers in Goldmember, has died at the age of 96.
Hailing from Essex, Charles ironically had trouble obtaining roles in her early days due to her resemblance to the Queen of England. However, when she began to receive lucrative offers to portray the Queen both in advertisements and in film, she began to embrace her role as an impersonator.
Charles’ most notable on-screen appearances as Queen Elizabeth came in 1985’s National Lampoon’s European Vacation, where she appeared in Ellen Griswold’s dreams; in 1988’s The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!, where she was the target of an assassination plot at an Anaheim Angels baseball game — and also threw a screwball; and in 2002’s Austin Powers in Goldmember, where she honored Austin with knighthood.

Michael Caine considers the Harry Palmer sequels, "Bullet to Beijing" and "Midnight in Saint Petersburg," among his worst experiences. Sequels felt cheap and rushed, lacking the quality of the original Harry Palmer films, with little to no compelling character development. Despite Caine's talent, the sequels failed to make an impression, serving as a waste of his return to the character of Harry Palmer.

Mike Myers is set to play Austin Powers again, as Austin Powers 4 finally looks set to head towards the screen. More here.
Every since he walked off the screen as Austin Powers for the last time in 2002’s Austin Powers In Goldmember, Mike Myers has been fielding questions about a possible Austin Powers 4. Myers has taken on very, very few big screen roles in the last 20 years, but occasional rumblings have popped up about a new Austin Power adventure. Turns out, it might actually be happening.
Over at World Of Reel, it’s reporting that Austin Powers 4 has been developed in secret for at least the last year. The first three films were released by New Line Cinema, which has been entirely swallowed up by Warner Bros now. Warner Bros will this be backing the new film.
Jay Roach, the director of the original trilogy, is said to be back on board.

Even before Beyoncé kicked off her solo career, it was clear that she was a legend-in-the-making. As the de facto leader of Destiny’s Child, she was a guiding light for the girl group and helped shepherd them to stardom in both the pop and R&b spaces. The group was at their height (and still very much together) as she launched her solo career, first with “Work It Out” for the Austin Powers in Goldmember soundtrack and then with more gusto on 2003’s “Crazy in Love.”

Director Steven Spielberg has delivered many blockbusters, and has touched many lives with his art. The filmmaker is known for extremely personal films on a blockbuster scale, with films such as Jaws, E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, and Jurassic Park being some of his most acclaimed films. He has also won the Oscar twice for Schindler’s List and Saving Private Ryan.
While Spielberg has been known for his blockbusters, he was also reportedly clairvoyant in predicting the cultural phenomenon that George Lucas’ Star Wars was going to be. The Indiana Jones filmmaker reportedly believed in the legendary space opera’s success even more than Lucas himself, who only believed that it was a hit after the first weekend.

Would it be accurate to dub Tom Cruise “The King of Hollywood”? He’s easily the most powerful actor of his generation, and given that his filmography reads like a compilation of the most critically and commercially successful films of the last forty years, there’s an argument to be made there. It’s the sort of achievement that only comes from a lifetime dedicated to one leading performance after another, and for the most part, Cruise has done just that. But this doesn’t mean that he’s above the occasional minor role. When used appropriately, such as in Austin Powers in Goldmember or Tropic Thunder, these minor appearances can serve as delightful self-parodies that exemplify why Cruise is such a beloved actor. However, the same cannot be said for a strange blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo in Young Guns, a 1988 Western released shortly after his rise to Hollywood legend. It...

Warning! This post contains Spoilers for Sony's Madame Web
Sony's Madame Web is set in 2003 and includes various references to the early 2000s, such as Blockbuster and American Idol. Despite being part of the same universe as other Sony Spider-Man movies, Madame Web is less connected due to its setting in the past. The movie features a meta-nod to 2002's Spider-Man starring Tobey Maguire, the Daily Bugle newspaper, as well as popular songs from the early 2000s, like Britney Spears' "Toxic."
Sony's Madame Web features a collection of references and Easter eggs from the early 2000s. Set in the year 2003, Madame Web serves as an origin story for the titular Cassandra Webb (Dakota Johnson) while also serving as a prelude for three different Spider-Women from the pages of Marvel Comics. To that end, various items, songs, and even references to Marvel's past help establish the Madame Web's setting, 21 years before the present era.

Brian De Palma's "Carrie" was the film that defined a generation. Its blend of coming-of-age themes, fantastical magic, and slasher-style bloodshed makes it a genre-bending film that time just can't seem to forget.
The 1976 horror tells the story of a sheltered girl who lives under her obsessively religious mother's tyrannical rule, a dictatorship made all the worse by the onset of Carrie's period. Her mother's frenzy combined with a cruel prank at the prom pushes the shy young girl to a mental break, complete with telekinetic powers. The Stephen King adaptation launched some incredibly notable careers, including John Travolta, who plays high school bully Billy Nolan. Sadly, not all of the cast has lived to see the end of 2023, including Piper Laurie, whose performance as Carrie's mother earned her one of three Oscar nominations in her lifetime.

The fourth Austin Powers movie was expected to give Mini-Me, played by Verne Troyer, a more significant role, showcasing a deeper exploration of his character. Director Jay Roach expressed uncertainty about how to continue the franchise without Troyer, emphasizing the integral role he played and the void his absence would leave. Beyoncé's self-produced concert documentary Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé is gaining popularity at the box office, but it falls short of Taylor Swift's success. Renaissance grossed $21 million in its opening weekend, the first movie to pass the $20 million threshold in the post-Thanksgiving weekend since 2003. However, this result is in stark contrast to Taylor Swift's concert film which made $92.8 million upon its debut.
Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé is conquering the box office, though not quite at the level of Taylor Swift. The movie, which documents Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour, was also written, directed, and produced by the star herself. The stadium tour saw the singer perform classic singles and tracks from her new album Renaissance, including "Alien Superstar," "Run the World (Girls)," and "Drunk in Love."
Per Variety, the Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé release is set to close Sunday with a 3-day opening weekend total of $21 million at the domestic box office.

Beyoncé captivated Hollywood’s attention Saturday night as the superstar held a stealthily staged world premiere of her concert movie, “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé,” at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.
The movie, which documents her Renaissance World Tour, will be released in the U.S. on Dec. 1 via major exhibition chains, including AMC, Regal and Cinemark. Beyoncé fans have noted that Dec. 1 also marks World AIDS Day – the singer dedicated her “Renaissance” album to her late cousin Johnny (she refers to him as “Uncle Johnny”), who died of AIDS-related illness.
Details of the premiere were kept under wraps, with guests invited with a save-the-date that only included the screening’s 7 p.m. start time and a “cozy opulence” dress code. After the massive success of the "Wayne's World" movies, studios were eager to capitalize on the popularity of "Saturday Night Live" cast member Mike Myers and his ability to create truly memorable characters. While womanizing James Bond spoof that is Austin Powers wasn't something Myers brought to "SNL" like the "Wayne's World" sketches, the shagadelic spoy blew up in pop culture pretty quickly.
"Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery" made him a household name in 1997, complete with a massive marketing campaign and merchandise ranging from Austin Powers Halloween costumes to vintage tin lunchboxes. The Austin Powers franchise consists of three movies that are both successful at the box office and critically acclaimed, with the series revolving around the character Austin Powers and his rivalry with Dr. Evil. Mike Myers is at the center of the franchise, having written, produced, and starred in all three films. He was inspired to create the character of Austin Powers while listening to "The Look of Love" by Burt Bacharach. Fans can watch the Austin Powers movies in either release order or chronological order, with the first movie premiering in 1997 and the third and final movie released in 2002. Despite rumors of a fourth film, the trilogy is seen as a suitable end to the series.

Austin Powers sequels heavily rely on time travel, but the storylines don't make sense. The movie tells the audience not to think about it too much. Scenes involving Mini-Me have aged poorly, as they treat people with dwarfism inappropriately. Dr. Evil treats Mini-Me like an unruly child due to his size. The third Austin Powers movie, Goldmember, heavily relies on recycled gags from previous films. The humor becomes repetitive and lacks originality.
For the most part, the Austin Powers movies are shagadelic, baby, but there are a few things that stand out when rewatching them today. Director Josh Greenbaum expresses his enthusiasm for helming a fourth Austin Powers movie and credits the franchise as a source of inspiration for his own films.
