Venice 2014: 'Burying the Ex' review
★☆☆☆☆Showing out of competition at the Venice Film Festival, Joe Dante's zom-com Burying the Ex (2014) is an unfunny undead comedy that in harking back to the days of the classic B-movie would be flattered to be classified as an E-movie. Max (Star Trek's Anton Yelchin) lives with his beautiful but irritating girlfriend Evelyn (Twilight's Ashley Greene). He works in the Bloody Mary Costume Shop while she's a blogger on environment issues and a vegan - the villains du jour of this year's festival following Hungry Hearts. Max's brother Travis (Oliver Cooper) (correction half- brother, and that counts for a running gag) occasionally comes round - one of those less convincing lotharios - and gets the lion's share of the laughs.

Venice 2014: Burying the Ex Review
Last seen on the Venice Lido in 2009 with his acclaimed 3D horror The Hole, Joe Dante returns to the festival with the disappointing schlock fest that is Burying the Ex. All I wanted to bury was my head in my hands during the screening of this tired, cheap and cliché-ridden film.

Our hero is Max (Anton Yelchin), a shop assistant at Boo Mary’s, selling Halloween costumes and horror gimmicks while classic horror movies play on a loop on a TV screen. His girlfriend Evelyn (Ashley Greene) is an eco-blogger who – despite being up for skipping work to have sex with Max when a consignment of naughty nurse costumes arrives – is not actually that much fun.

She hates it when Max’s lothario half-brother Travis (Oliver Cooper) shows up, though to be fair he does have a threesome with a couple of good-time girls on her nice paisley sheet. She...

The Humbling – Star Al Pacino reunites with director Barry Levinson (You Don’t Know Jack) for the story of a famous retired stage actor in decline who becomes reinvigorated by moving in with a much younger woman. Adam Driver Denies Nightwing Talk
Rumors swirled last week that "Girls" star Adam Driver was being looked at for the role of Dick Grayson in the upcoming "Batman vs. Superman" film at Warner Bros. Pictures.

Doing some press this weekend, Driver was very clear about the fact that the reports aren't true, telling Collider: "No. Not that I know of, no. If you find out, let me know, then I'll know."

He goes on to say: "[It's] intensely flattering as you can imagine. I mean, it's Batman and Superman, who doesn't want to be involved in something not only of that scale but of who those characters are. That's an incredible world to be able to be in for a bit. Like who wouldn't want to do that?"

The original story at The Wrap was the one that mentioned two other actors are in the mix for the role, this now calls into question all of that talk.
