Chip 'n' Dale: Rescue Rangers

When it comes to Disney based games just like licensed games it's always hit or miss. This game is one of those hits which is why it's one of my favorite licensed video games of all time as well as Disney based games of all time. "Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers" is one of my favorite animated TV shows, when I heard it was being made into an NES game I was blown away, I'd be able to play as a Rescue Ranger.

The music is solid, their not in my book what I would consider all time classic video game tracks as their a little repetitive, but there are some good tracks that I actually like to listen to sometimes and they do fit the nature of the game as the music has a sort of energetic fun, like the toy stage and the diner stage those are enjoyable tracks.

The gameplay is good, it's a little similar to "Super Mario Bros 2" as your characters grab whatever items lay around and use them as weapons, but here there is a little something added to it. Each of the items you throw are unique as each has strengths and weaknesses, which causes you to pluck out your weapons carefully. From the regular boxes which are literally all over the game, those you can not just throw back and forth but also upward. But one neat thing about them is that when you push down you get yourself into the box and it becomes a good defensive weapon as you can just simply wait for you opponent to walk right onto you and they'll just fly right off the screen.

Then there are the heavier objects like the apple which can take out multiple enemies in whatever direction you throw. But due to the weigh of it you can't throw up nor can you jump at your regular height. Another is a metal block which you can't throw very far, but you can still you it as a defensive weapon which will last and for stacking. And finally, a bomb which you can throw to blow away multiple enemies from all directions but like all bombs you better not hold on to it for very long. Boss battles are good though actually easy. Even like that you have different pathways to choose from which give the game a slight replay value.

I really like the character animation from the sprites of Chip and Dale they look true to their animated counterparts. And even some of the enemies there is a good variety of baddies like the robot dogs, android rats, gangster lizards, flying ninja squeals, and others.

But to me what really impresses me about the game is the level designs themselves which are the real star of the game. The level designs really have the look and feel of the world the Rescue Rangers inhabit, where all the locales and everyday things we take for granted would seem like mountains or buildings in their small eyes. Each of the levels are unique Dinner, Forest, Toy Level, Casino, and each have their giant decorations like a stove, chair, ceiling fan, fence, you name it, it's something you must see and experience to believe.

The only bad things about the game are that it's a bit short and kind of easy by my standards, though same can be said about a lot of others out there, yeah, the ride is short but it's a sweet ride all the same.

So, if you're a fan of the TV show or even into vintage licensed and NES classics this game is for you. Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers is big fun.

"Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers", released in 1990 by Capcom for the Dendy game console (also known as Famicom or NES), is rightfully considered one of the best games of its time. She wins attention with her fascinating gameplay, charming characters and great level design.

From the first minutes of the game, it becomes clear that Capcom has put its heart into adapting the popular animated series from Disney. Players are invited to take on the roles of Chip and/or Dale, those most famous chipmunks who embark on an exciting adventure to save their girlfriend Nut from the villain Fat Cat. The whole atmosphere of the game is imbued with the spirit of the original animated series, which makes it especially attractive to cartoon fans.

The gameplay of "Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers" is simple and at the same time deep. The main mechanism is to collect and throw objects at opponents, while avoiding any contact with these very villains, traps and overcoming various obstacles. Each level is filled with interactive elements, which makes the passage interesting and unpredictable. It is especially worth noting the opportunity to play together, which adds a cooperative element to the game and makes it even more exciting. Oh, how interesting it was at one time to wade through the levels with a partner. It is more interesting and at the same time more difficult. One wrong move, and you or your friend has already flown into the abyss. You will have to fly on a red balloon, giving another life. Well, to run a level on a bet, taking your friend instead of a box and not dying at the same time, is a whole challenge, which sometimes ended in victory.

The design of the levels is made at the highest level. Each location is unique and filled with details, whether it's city streets, laboratories or forests. The enemies are diverse and require different strategies to defeat them, which adds a kind of tactical depth to the game. The levels are full of hidden secrets and bonuses that encourage exploration and force you to play the game over and over again in search of new things.

The graphics of the game were excellent for its time. Bright and colorful character sprites, smooth animations and detailed backgrounds create an impressive visual picture. The musical accompaniment, written by David Wise, perfectly complements the game, adding atmosphere to it and immersing the player in an adventurous atmosphere. The melody of the final level turned out to be especially gorgeous. At the same time cheerful and sad, foreshadowing the imminent denouement of the story.

Special mention should be made of the controls, which are intuitive and responsive. This is especially important for platformers, where accuracy and timeliness of actions play a key role. Capcom has managed to create controls that allow players to fully control the situation on the screen, which makes the passage of levels smooth and enjoyable. But sometimes, of course, you will fall off somewhere, the button will not work, and in general "they are luces". And how else to pass the toys on "Dendy"?

"Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers" is a classic that has remained in the heart forever. The game combines addictive gameplay, great design and charming atmosphere, making it a must-play for anyone who appreciates high-quality platformers. It still remains relevant and interesting, and sometimes you want to run through the levels today. This proves that good games are timeless.

So it was the early 90's and I was a huge Nintendo fan. I tried to play every single game.

When "Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers" came out, I immediately bought it because I was a big fan of the series and overall, didn't expect much from it.

Oh, I spent hours playing it and I never got bored. It's simply a great action game oriented for children and for those who enjoy entertaining adventures.

The graphics were alright, the soundtrack was exciting, and best of all, the fun factor was high.

This was one of my favorite NES games and I'm sure it's ranked amongst the best of it's generation.
