The toys for this anime series were featured in Mattel's phenomenal Shogun Warriors toy collection. Dangard Ace was renamed just "Dangard" (although Marvel's tie-in comic-book uses the robot's original name).
Danguard Ace was featured in the short-lived American comic book series "Shogun Warriors" (1979-1980) by Marvel Comics. The series was adapting concepts from mecha anime and their respective toys.
