Space:1999 Johnny Byrne wrote this beautiful concluding piece for the seminal series that influenced later Star Trek and other sci fi shows and movies. Zienia Merton is outstanding as always.

- TriviaThis short film is a sequel to the TV series Cosmos 1999 (1975) and was produced specifically for a special convention held in 1999 to mark the year the Moon left orbit in the series. At the time, the film was shown with the understanding that it would be shown only once (due to licensing restrictions). However, in 2002 A&E announced it would include the film in a DVD release of "Space: 1999" episodes. Although not broadcast, this short film is considered canonical with the "Space: 1999" (1975) TV series.
