Star Wars, one of the longest-running and lucrative franchises, is currently in dire need of a film to fill the void of the last five years. Thankfully, several Star Wars projects are in the works, but Shawn Levy's untitled film is still among the most highly anticipated. While many details about the film remain tight-lipped, the director of Deadpool & Wolverine recently provided an important update on the project.
Originally announced in 2022 as part of the new Star Wars entry following the conclusion of the sequel trilogy, Shawn Levy's film has certainly been a heated topic among the franchise's fans. Especially after the success of Deadpool & Wolverine, which, in some ways, saved the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the hopes of the new Star Wars film succeeding have skyrocketed. While speaking with IndieWire, Levy offered an interesting update, revealing how things have been going and who he's been working with to bring the project to fruition.

The following contains spoilers for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: The JOJOLands, Chapter 21, "Howler Company Impropriety Suspicions," by Hirohiko Araki from Shueisha's Ultra Jump. There’s no one way to tell a JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure story and one of the most liberating details about Hirohiko Araki’s magnum opus is that it plays by its own rules. The previous chapter, "Lulu and Bobby Jean, Part 3," was full of success and death. It's only natural to take a second to reflect and cool down after such a chaotic chapter. The JOJOLands Chapter 21, "Howler Company Impropriety Suspicions," does do this to some extent. It's a narrative bridge into much bigger ideas that sets up several story arcs' worth of obstacles.
At the same time, this chapter feels like a bold rebranding that shuffles its deck and is prepared to experiment with its characters and storytelling. "Howler Company Impropriety Suspicions" is a...

The latest scandal in New Jersey politics is a blip on the radar compared to the corruption of former US Senator Bob Menendez, but it’s a minor scandal nevertheless: Congressman Josh Gottheimer has been forced to admit he faked a social media post of an all-Bruce Springsteen Spotify Wrapped of his top songs.
Gottheimer posted the alleged screenshot on Friday (December 6th), appearing to show that his top five tracks were “Thunder Road,” “Because the Night,” “Glory Days,” “Badlands,” and “The Rising.”
Get Bruce Springsteen Tickets Here
“No surprises here,” the Democratic Representative wrote. “Fun fact: My first ever concert was at Meadowlands to see The Boss!”
Considering the website for his gubernatorial campaign says Gottheimer grew up “catching a Springsteen show every chance he could get,” it all seemed believable enough. Plus, he came out to “Glory Days” while announcing his campaign for governor.

It’s not hard to be a Bruce Springsteen fan. Millions of people around the world do it every day effortlessly, relishing the power, the glory, the promise, the majesty, the mystery, and the ministry of rock & roll as only Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen can deliver it. It’s much harder to fake being a Bruce Springsteen fan. And yet that’s somehow the situation Josh Gottheimer, a Democratic politician from — you’ll never believe this — New Jersey, has found himself in.

The following contains spoilers for JoJos Bizarre Adventure: The JOJOLands, Chapter 20, "Glory Days, Part 2," by Hirohiko Araki from Shueisha's Ultra Jump.
Hirohiko Araki's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is one of the few long-running manga that's genuinely impossible to get ahead of -- as if there's a Stand in play that blocks the fandom's ability to properly theorize what's to come. This has made JoJo's Bizarre Adventure such an entertaining franchise to work through and one where the audience just has to trust that many disparate ideas are headed towards a logical conclusion. 20 Chapters in, it still feels as if The JOJOLands is really just getting started. There's been patience to the manga's storytelling that's turned the wait for each new chapter into an excruciating exercise in fortitude.

This article contains mentions of suicide.
Netflixs The Lincoln Lawyer season 3 includes a devastating death to close out the trial on Glory Days murder, though it was actually a season 1 character, not Neil Bishop, who died on the stand in the book. The Lincoln Lawyer show has now adapted three books from Michael Connellys Mickey Haller novel series, but translating these stories to the small screen has come with some notable changes. Among the biggest book changes in The Lincoln Lawyer season 3 from Connellys The Gods of Guilt is the character of Neil Bishop, who fills the role of a familiar figure.
Neil Bishop (Holt McCallany) is introduced into The Lincoln Lawyer season 3s cast of characters during the premieres flashback sequence. The flashback establishes that Bishop and Mickeys feud goes back more than 15 years, which plays into...

It’s safe to say Helldivers 2 has faced its fair share of ups and downs since its release in February. Despite these challenges, the game has managed to build a dedicated playerbase that is committed to doing whatever it takes to spread democracy across the galaxy. Players are drawn to the chaotic, fast-paced combat that constantly forces them to think on their feet, making each mission feel fresh and engaging.
Players are enjoying the game with its recent updates and changes. | Image Credit: Arrowhead Game Studios
However, what truly sets the game apart is its ability to keep the player engaged without leaning too much on the microtransaction. Recently, the game has once again rejuvenated its player base with a steady stream of updates and meaningful changes. In doing so, players are starting to realize that perhaps it’s time to raise their standards when it comes to modern games.

Warning: Spoilers ahead for The Lincoln Lawyer season 3!The Lincoln Lawyer season 3 was another success for Netflix, but season 4 is already set to fix a character change, according to a new tease. Though season 3's big risks paid off, presenting a case for Mickey Haller that was full of shocking twists and turns, the latest installment still had a few drawbacks. Most of The Lincoln Lawyer's main characters returned for season 3, but the family aspect was pushed aside, meaning Maggie and Hayley had limited roles. Some of the subplots also felt overstuffed at times, taking too much focus off of the murder case in focus.
Still, The Lincoln Lawyer season 3's ending stuck the landing by closing out the Glory Days mystery. Of course, the show also set up what's next for Mickey and his team. Though The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 isn't greenlit by Netflix yet, the basis of...

Warning! This article contains major Spoilers for The Lincoln Lawyer season 3!Though Mindhunter hasnt released a new season on Netflix since 2019, the sting of its cancelation hurts again with Holt McCallanys new role on The Lincoln Lawyer. Directed and produced by the celebrated thriller movie director David Fincher, Netflixs hit true crime drama followed FBI Agents Bill Tench (McCallany) and Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) as well as psychologist Wendy Carr (Anna Torv) as they interview, research, and profile serial killers in the late 1970s and early 1980s. After season 2 saw them investigate a string of Atlanta murders in the early 80s, the door seemed open for Mindhunter season 3.
Sadly, however, it was soon announced that season 3 would be indefinitely put on hold, with David Fincher confirming in 2023 that Mindhunter was over. Still, there have been high hopes that Mindhunter will eventually be resurrected at Netflix with McCallany, Groff, and Torv reprising their roles.

Warning: This article contains Spoilers for The Lincoln Lawyer season 3.
Netflix's The Lincoln Lawyer is known for its legal realism, properly representing many aspects of the law and court cases while bending others for dramatic purposes. Based on the books by Michael Connelly, the show follows a defense attorney named Mickey Haller who is known for two things. One, he works out of the back of his Lincoln cars, and two, he almost always gets clients off. Like every great courtroom drama, The Lincoln Lawyer takes creative liberties with the legal aspects, favoring storytelling over 100% accuracy.
Despite how TV shows and movies present it, the law and court cases can be very slow, dull, and pedantic. However, The Lincoln Lawyer finds a way to balance actual elements of the legal profession with exciting storytelling. From Andy's Cruz Waiver to trials in absentia, the writers put careful attention into representing the judicial system correctly.

The Lincoln Lawyers Hector Moya twist presents an age-old legal and moral debate in a fresh way, offering a different perspective on the issue. Almost every main character in The Lincoln Lawyer season 3 deals with a different internal conflict based on these topics.

The following contains major spoilers from The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3, Episode 1, "La Culebra," now streaming on Netflix.
The Lincoln Lawyer has returned to Netflix right on time, and Season 3 is worth the wait. The third go-around in Mickey Haller's world is the most compelling one, because of the season's increased emotional stakes and its further look into what made Mickey the man audiences have come to root for. if there was somehow still any doubt that the TV show is better than the Matthew McConaughey movie, this season quashes it.
The Season 3 premiere, "La Culebra," drops two new cases in Mickey's lap -- both of which have a personal connection to him. The first is a continuation of the Season 2 finale, as Mickey learns that Glory Days has been killed, after she helped him in his previous trial. The second is intended as comic relief, but it still winds up being kind of poignant,...

The following contains minor spoilers for The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3, now streaming on Netflix.
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 is the most intense season yet, which is no surprise given how long Ted Humphrey has been thinking about it. The executive producer and co-showrunner of the Netflix series also writes and directs, including stepping behind the camera for the Season 3 finale. He's a driving force behind the TV adaptation -- and this is what he's been waiting for.
In an interview with Cbr, Humphrey revealed why he's been excited about this season since he started developing The Lincoln Lawyer for television years ago. He discussed what went into not only crafting Season 3, but why the show is unique among other legal dramas, including his time on the critically acclaimed CBS drama The Good Wife. Plus, what would he consider the most impactful scene?
Cbr: You've worked on several legal dramas over your career.

The Ted Humphrey-created, and David E. Kelley executive-produced series “The Lincoln Lawyer” finally returns for season 3. Adapted from Michael Connelly’s series of books about the titular Lincoln Lawyer, Mickey Haller, the show is a ratings hit on Netflix precisely because it is both an old-school throwback to network TV legal dramas, with an added sheen afforded to Netflix shows. It almost emulates the “sunny blue-skies era” of the USA Network, which made “Suits” get a gigantic second wind when it dropped on Netflix.
Most importantly after the success of “Bosch” on Prime Video and its spinoff on the sister channel Freevee, Netflix wanted to hop on the Connelly bandwagon. While “The Lincoln Lawyer” isn’t as good as “Bosch,” it has a consistency in terms of story and vibe and perfectly dependable filmmaking that allows it to be a streamable experience, even as the show fumbled majorly in the second season.

Warning: Spoilers ahead for The Lincoln Lawyer season 3!Neve Campbell returns as Maggie McPherson in The Lincoln Lawyer season 3, but her role is limited compared to previous installments in the Netflix show. Based on the book series by Michael Connelly, The Lincoln Lawyer centers on defense lawyer Mickey Haller. Maggie is Mickey's first ex-wife and the mother of his only child, so she plays an important role in The Lincoln Lawyer's cast. Campell's character is also a criminal prosecutor, meaning her professional life overlaps with Mickey's throughout the show's first two seasons.
Season 1 focused on "The Brass Verdict," while The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 adapted "The Fifth Witness." The season featured Mickey and Maggie working on their relationship, and there was even a tease that the pair could be rekindling their romance. The notion was short-lived, however, when Maggie revealed that she was relocating to San Diego for a new job.

After a little while away, The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 dropped on Netflix on October 17, and it was good to have LA's hottest lawyer, Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) back on the job. The murder of Glory Days (Fiona Rene) was Mickey's sole focus throughout the season, and the season finale ultimately produced the goods with the revelation of who was responsible. However, as with good TV, the show threw up one huge spanner in the works with its final scene. Haller moved from lawyer to client as the body of his client, Sam Scales (Christopher Thornton), was found in his car's trunk after he had been pulled over for a missing license plate. Series co-showrunner Ted Humphrey has teased what enormous ramifications that scene might have for Mickey's future.

Netflix's The Lincoln Lawyer season 3 includes only a couple of songs in each episode, but each selection helps shape the tone and narrative. This season of the show follows Mickey Haller as he faces his biggest test yet representing the man accused of murdering his former friend and client, Glory Days. Over the course of the season, the show lays out the true story of what really happened. Like most things in The Lincoln Lawyer, the answer is far from simple or straightforward.
