Adam Sandler and John Turturro in Les aventures de Mister Deeds (2002)

Trivia

Les aventures de Mister Deeds

Edit
Winona Ryder broke her arm while shooting the scene in which she and Adam Sandler ride bikes down the stairs.
Winona Ryder admitted in an interview with Empire Magazine that she felt miscast.
Throughout the movie, Winona Ryder's character makes several references to Harper Lee's novel "To Kill a Mockingbird". These include "falling out of Boo Radley's apple tree" and referring to her neighbor as "Mrs. Finch" and the neighbor's dog as "Atticus".
When Babe, pretending to be a school nurse, talks to Longfellow on the phone, she says that a boy named Billy Barty is in her office, sick. This is a tribute to actor Billy Barty, who died in 2000, three months before production started.
During the dinner scene, Adam Sandler's character Deeds remarks that Walter Williamson's opera singer character Kurt looks like Mr. French. Kurt replies that he doesn't know who Mr. French is and has never heard of him. Mr. French, or Giles French, is the character portrayed by Sebastian Cabot from the television series Cher oncle Bill (1966). Cabot and Williamson were no relation.

Cameo

Rob Schneider: As Nazo, the Italian delivery man. Schneider had originally played this role in Big Daddy (1999).
Al Sharpton: As himself, also known as "The Rhyme Master". The filmmakers knew they wanted someone dynamic to make an appearance, and they ultimately decided on the Reverend.

Director Cameo

Steven Brill: The violinist at Madison Square Garden.
