I don't remind this amazing little series from my childhood. This is cute, poignant, sad without being gloomy but riveting, with a young convincing Dominique Paturel. The tale of two men who fight over the love of a woman. It takes place during Napoleonian wars. Typical of what the French Tv industry could provide between the sixties and eighties. Period, historical, costume genre drama. It is not lame, old fashioned, not boring either. They don't make such tales now any more. I definitely like this story. Nothing is really predictable, but some small elements are sometimes a bit unlikely and some action may also be a bit weak. But I am very glad to have found this series.
