Lilith's Return Is Massive For The Frasier Reboot - Here's Why
Image
The Frasier reboot recently revealed a huge, and very promising detail, Bebe Neuwirth is reprising her role as Lilith. Lilith's return is highly promising, especially considering previous disappointing updates from Paramount+'s upcoming reboot. Lilith was a key figure throughout each incarnation of Frasier's life, and also represents a key facet of his character.

Dr. Lilith Sternin was Frasier's second wife, first introduced in Cheers season 4, episode 17, "Second Time Around." Neuwirth appeared in 80 episodes of the sitcom Cheers, during which Lilith and Frasier married and had a child, Frederick. By the conclusion of Cheers, Lilith and Frasier had separated, with their divorce finalizing some time between Cheers and Frasier. Despite this, Lilith still appeared throughout Frasier, appearing in 12 episodes over the sitcom's 11 seasons.

The Original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Is Still Amazing
Mike Cecchini Mar 30, 2019

The first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is a wonder of practical effects and surprising martial arts action.

In 1990 the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were at the absolute peak of their popularity. With an animated series bringing in millions of viewers entering its third season, the most popular boys’ toy line on the market, breakfast cereals, frozen pizzas, video games... the world belonged to the Tmnt. Their final frontier was live action, something which seemed more than a little ambitious considering the limitations of special effects technology of the day.

Watching the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live-action movie today, over 25 years after its release, and in the wake of two blockbuster movies that are considerably more expensive than the modest $13 million that the original cost, there are a few amazing details worth pointing out.

It's extraordinarily faithful to the original comics.

So much so that I...
