The pic, written and starring Nick Frost, has just wrapped production in Tampere, Finland, with post-production currently underway in the UK. Plot follows a family on their summer vacation to a remote island where they discover a serial killer is on the loose. Unfortunately for them, the locals have no interest in helping the stranded family. The title is taken from the name of the fictional island. Directing is Steffen Haars (New Kids Turbo). Cast is rounded out by Sebastian Croft (Heartstopper) and newcomer Maisie Ayres.

Lena Headey (Game Of Thrones) had previously been attached to the pic but stepped back due to what has been described as scheduling conflicts. She was replaced by Bea.

The Justified: City Primeval cast helps bring the FX spinoff series to life, with US Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) returning alongside a few familiar faces as well as a lot of exciting new characters. The new adventure set in the Justified universe finds the cowboy-hat-wearing lawman taking on a case in Detroit where he comes up against a reckless and deadly outlaw. While the show was more of a new Raylan adventure rather than a continuation of the Justified series, the Justified: City Primeval cast is a solid ensemble to carry on the franchise.

Justified premiered in 2010 and was based on the short story "Fire in the Hole" by Elmore Leonard. It follows Givens, a Miami Marshal who is reassigned to his home state of Kentucky where he comes up against the local criminal element which includes some people from his past.

Ccp Games unveils their new Fps project, Eve Vanguard, at Eve Fanfest 2023 as a playable module within Eve Online. Vanguard is built on Unreal Engine 5 and will launch with a limited time public mass test in December for Omega players and will encourage social dynamics and squad play. The game features a PvPvE experience with extraction-style gameplay, where players collect loot and complete contracts while defending against other players.

Starz’s John Wick prequel series The Continental has found its Winston Scott: Colin Woodell (The Flight Attendant, The Originals) will star as the younger version of Ian McShane’s movie character, our sister site Deadline reports.

Produced by Lionsgate Television, the three-night event takes John Wick fans back to 1975 New York City, where a young criminal named Winston Scott (Woodell) navigates the city’s nefarious underbelly in an attempt to take control of The Continental, a notorious hangout for all manner of ne’er-do-wells.

WWE Superstar Mike “The Miz” Mizanin is guest-starring on Nickelodeon’s “Side Hustle,” and just like his main job and those acting roles in the (post-John Cena) “Marine” movies, it’s a fairly physical gig.

On “Side Hustle,” Mizanin plays Jujutsu star Clint Kickwood, who grunts out “Kick-wood!” as he kicks down Jaget’s (Jacques Chevelle) dojo door.

Kickwood was “hired by a very sorry young man,” he tells Jaget. That sorry young man was Munchy, Jaget’s little bro. Probably extra-sorry now because of the door.

As Clint Kickwood explains, “Clint Kickwood doesn’t just kick stuff, I fix stuff!”

He definitely does seem to kick an awful lot of stuff — especially when he played twins in the movie “Double Kick.” But his mission here is more one of mending a brotherly relationship.

The arguably better counterpart to Riverdale, Netflix's The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina met an untimely end that shocked its many fans. The witchy show was not only entertaining but also important because it handled representation and feminism well. Caos creators had clearly written story arcs in all its four seasons that were meant to be unraveled over a few more parts, so its cancellation definitely left some plot holes gaping open.
