If a jaded adult horror fan and innocent beginning young fan can both enjoy it, i'm going to have to say that YOU will too!!

I actually had a hard time remembering that this IS an indie film - better than indie and yet still not 'major' production house - Biohazardous delivers a fun time with a punch... a bloody gorey punch that's bound for your veins!

Excellent sound effects and smooth dialogue helps the clear, steady picture work it's magic and make you forget it's indie... The music was well done and very appropriate per scene, albeit it was a bit too quiet on occasion and could have used some background music. The acting was most definately above average for indie films and some of these young stars just may be headed for bigger things. And finally, the story. Innovative with a familiar ring. Part 'the stand' and part 'night of the living dead' but all twisted around in it's own path.

The closeup of the eyeball on the scientist as he dies, the reference to Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and the backstory were wonderful elements. But perhaps the most surprising of all [and i mean this in the best way] was the fact that i enjoyed it immensely - and it was a gore fest in the truest sense of the word. I normally don't like the gore but found myself both amused and entertained.

And to make matters worse, i let the 6 year old watch it not knowing exactly how gory it would get - and he LOVED it! I try covering his eyes while the zombies are tearing the flesh off the newly dead and he's pushing me away saying 'wow', 'wicked', and my favorite 'that was just sick' with a big cheesy grin...

If a jaded adult horror fan and innocent beginning young fan can both enjoy it, i'm going to have to say that YOU will too!! Rating? Without a doubt 4 stars - it's not in theaters, so you might want to hunt down a copy asap for the collection, especially if you are a gorehound or zombie lover!

Entertaining, but make sure you rent it, not buy it.

As far as zero-budget c-movie shot-on-video horror goes, Biohazardous is pretty good. It has a fair few zombies, a lot of zombie vs human action in it's second half and some good direction. Still, fact of the matter is it's still a video-shot basement flick with no budget whatsoever. It's better than almost all the video-shot basement horror I've seen to date, but it has to be said that's not saying a lot, given that all I really have to compare it with are movies like Killjoy, Death Tunnel or the Bloody Murder series. In this company Biohazardous is king of all kings. Outside of this company it's really ropey though.

The odd thing is that it isn't the lacklustre special effects, the dodgy acting or the patchy camera-work that keelhauls it...it's the decision to make it a 'teen' movie that derails the film. I don't really understand why , other than general demographic, all low-budget horror movies have a teen cast. Biohazardous didn't need to be a teen movie and suffers for the half hour we're subjected to the young cast listening to generic metal music (because all teenagers spend every five minutes of their lives listening to bargain basement Korn copyists, don't you know) and smoking joints. Once it's over with, Biohazardous is an energetic, daft and enjoyable zombie-muncher, but guys, why the half-baked Cry_wolf rubbish at the start?

Still, maybe I'm getting too old for this s**t. If you ignore the mentally challenged key cast, there's a lot to like. These plus-points run the gamut from a subtle sense of self-deprecating humour, through a zombie vicar right through to a chainsaw attack that left a wide grin on my face. This is quite a fun movie, almost so much fun you'll forget it's shot on a camcorder in what seems to only be three corridors and a deserted section of park. It's fast paced once it get's it's groove on (about 25 minutes in) and it doesn't skimp on the gore either, with a lot of gross zombie-munching shots.

It isn't Citizen Kane, and people aren't going to be shopping The Shining off their top horror lists on Amazon to make way for this either. Still, if you're beered up and seek a cool horror rental, Biohazardous could be right up your dark, rat-infested alley.

Terrible movie

For a very long time this was the worst zombie movie I had seen. I have since found one worse one but it took several years searching to find one worse. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Fun splat flick!

A fun ride for fans of low budget horror flicks. While BIOHAZARDOUS is one of those love it or hate it films. I loved it! It's a B-movie that shows what a few talented people can do with next to no budget. Sure, it's got it cheese factor, but if your a fan of these type of SOV flicks, then your going to have a great time with Biohazardous. The Mr. Stine character has got to be one of the best villains in a b-movie in years! However, if b-movies aren't your thing, I recommend renting before you buy. I also must mention the FX in the film are head and shoulders above most the crap out there these days. All in all, I'd say Biohazardous is an inspiration for all no-budget horror filmmakers out there. A cult film in the first degree!

Great little flick!

Fun little zombie opus. Well written and acted with plenty of gore. Extremely low budget, but a fun ride for splatter fans!

One of the better zombie flick of the last few years. Highly recommended for fans of B-movies.

sweet!

Biohazardous is a nice homage to Romero's famous zombie flicks. While this film never reaches the highest of any of his films, it is a really sweet zombie flick non the less. This extremely low budget flick is a fun ride, very bloody and surprisingly well acted and written. I'd love to see what these guys would do with a serious budget.

While the movie is certainly not without it's problems, it's one of the most entertaining SOV horror flicks I've seen.

five stars!

There should have been a warning on the box!

Biohazardous is probably one of the worst movies ever made. Zombies?? Give me a break. And the movie was shot with a cam corder!! I know, I know, we're all on a budget, but come on, I spent four dollars to rent the DVD and what I ended up with was worthless.

Worth watching for trivia value !

Clearly, this is a very low budget and poorly acted... but that's why anyone might like it !

The film's trivia value revolves around the fact, this is Katheryn Winnick's first film (her previous work was on Telly : "Psi Factor", "Student Bodies" and "Sydney Fox") and Sprague Grayden's second (her first was in 1989 "Dad").

Biohazardous To Your Health...

A group of young people trespasses on the property of a secret facility known as Gentech, so they can drink beer and smoke pot. They have no idea that the government is carrying out dangerous biological experiments there.

Oh no!

Something goes awry in the Gentech lab! Now, before these teens can say "Pass the blunt", flesh-consuming zombies arise in search of warm food!

BIOHAZARDOUS is a bloody, ultra-cheeezey, low-budget film. It's what might happen if George A. Romero had had his brain removed and replaced with Styrofoam packing pellets. Well, maybe not that good...

Super suckfest!

This movies sucked in so many ways it's hard to actually call it a movie. I was shot on a home movie camera with some of the cheesiest effects I've ever seen. The diretor obviously saw Resident Evil but didn't learn a thing about suspense or horror. Dialogue and acting... if you want to call it that, laughable and not in any good kind of way. Oh yeah, and did I mention it's boring. How do you make a boring zombie film? Take my advice rent 28 days later and watch it five times before you even consider this chunk of dreck.

Note to director, I want my money back fool!
