It's looking more and more like we're going to get a pretty interesting surprise in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Up until recently, most everything about the movie was relegated to rumors, but the new trailer for the movie gave fans a lot to chew on. One of the most crucial among them being the heavy tease that Rey may be making a move to the Dark Side. Now, a new synopsis, courtesy of a Japanese website, further teases that Rey is going to head down a dark path. We also have a new poster which strongly hints that Luke Skywalker may also be taking a Dark turn as he looms in a black cloak over various First Order leaders.
Before digging into this newly uncovered synopsis, it should be noted that this is a somewhat rough translation from a Japanese website. So something may have been lost in translation.

Without question, The Empire Strikes Back doesn't just have one of the biggest shockers in the Star Wars saga, it has one of the greatest reveals in perhaps all of cinema. Back in 1980, when the movie was released, it hit with the force of an atomic bomb, because no one saw it coming. The cast and crew were able to keep it a secret. And the truth never leaked. Surprising, the same can be said about Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It is rumored to have an even bigger surprise. And while some fans have tried to guess, it has yet to be revealed or leaked. Perhaps that's because director Rian Johnson utilized some of the old tricks learned on the set of Empire. How did Mark Hamill and team keep it under wraps the first time around? It wasn't easy, but it was smart.

Is it time for dancing in the streets? Perhaps. While there are natural disasters destroying the world from every corner, we can at least rest easy knowing that Star Wars: The Last Jedi is locked and ready to roll. Director Rian Johnson confirmed that he'd finished all post production work after being asked on Twitter. His short and sweet response in letting everyone know that Star Wars 8 is complete?
"Allllll done."
Yah! That's great news, and it means the December 15 release date is staying firmly in place. Not that there ever was any worry that it would be delayed or changed. Johnson said a few months ago that his team was ahead of schedule. And that appears to be true. Rian Johnson is enthusiastic, dare we even say, excited about what fans have in store. He first confirmed the sequel's completion on Instagram. He said this, which accompanied the image you can see below.

A new Japanese promo leaflet that was released for director Rian Johnson's Star Wars: The Last Jedi makes a very big and bold claim. According to a rough translation from Star Wars News Net, one of the things that the poster says is:
The Most Shocking Truth In Star Wars History Will Soon Be Revealed!
I have no idea what that shocking truth could be. It could be anything from Rey's true parentage to Luke Skywalker turning to the dark side. Or it's the real truth about the Jedi, and the light and dark side of the force? It could even be the reveal of the true identity of Snoke. Everything is up for speculation! That's all we can do at this point. Whatever it is, it must be bigger than the reveal of Darth Vader being Luke Skywalker's father.
The promo also includes some additional information on the plot.

It looks like Star Wars fans may be in for one hell of a surprise later this year. It isn't uncommon for promotional materials for movies to make bold claims, but some recently discovered marketing for Star Wars: The Last Jedi is being extra bold. If this new information is to be believed, Star Wars: The Last Jedi is going to feature the "most shocking truth in Star Wars history." More shocking than Darth Vader being Luke's father? More shocking than Ewoks defeating the Empire? More shocking than Greedo shooting first in the 1997 Special Edition of Star Wars: A New Hope?

By mid-May, the broadcast networks must make some tough calls as to which series will return for the 2017-18 TV season, and which… won’t.
As that deadline draws near, TVLine is singling out a few “bubble” shows and sizing up their prospects — based in large part on creative strides (and stumbles) and future potential, but also with a requisite nod to cold, hard numbers.
First up is a time-travel series with an entertaining past but sadly uncertain future.

This Is… not fake news.
This Is Us‘ Season 1 finale, which was originally set to air on Tuesday, March 7, has been pushed back a week, to Tuesday, March 14, NBC announced on Wednesday.
News that President Trump planned to address a joint session of Congress on Feb. 28 forced NBC to pull This Is Us from the schedule that night, which, in turn, delayed the finale a week.

Last week's episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. saw Dr. Holden Radcliffe (John Hannah) attempt to steal the Darkhold via his Lmd, Aida. With that plan failing, Radcliffe has now opted for a more nuanced approach by using the duplicate he's created of Agent May (Ming-Na Wen). In a new clip from tonight's episode, "The Patriot", Radcliffe reveals that his Lmd replica of May is a more advanced model than Aida; it's completely unaware of its designation as an android, something that Radcliffe believes will help him coerce Agent Coulson into divulging the Darkhold's location.
