Getter Robo is a Japanese mecha media franchise created by Ken Ishikawa and Go Nagai.
There is a second season based upon the manga of the same name and follows its' story beats more closely than the first season/series(51 episodes) follows its' source material and this second season or series is called "Getter Robo G" on its' title card and runs for 38 episodes or so.
