The mounted charge at the end of the film and some other scenes were directly lifted from the 1987 Australian feature film La chevauchée de feu (1987).

The role of Henry Jones was originated by Sean Connery in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, he also played the first James bond, in this film one of Connery's successors Daniel Craig appears making him the second Bond actor to appear in an Indiana Jones Film, however Craig was Cast as Bond a decade after this films release.
