Nintendo version:The Nintendo version of this James bond game is pretty good because: The missions are fun to do they can be hard that makes it more fun to play the weapons you use are pretty good they have lots of action. The way bond looks is pretty good you can see pierce brosnan in him same with the rest of the characters in this game. The voice over actors are pretty good but it would have been better if piece brosnan was in it. Also the game follows the movie pretty much and a few added things here and there so that makes the missions more fun. Also the graphics in this game are pretty good for Nintendo 64.

Last year Tomorrow never dies was a total hit & miss because there was no stealh on the game and the missions sucked pretty much since 90% it is just plain shooting.
Now EA Games has made my day, although it would be better on PC or 128 bit console this game put you in the shoes of Bond. There are a lot a varieties, sneaking in a mansion, taking advantage on Bond's style to bypass metal detectors.
Now just because it has 1st person perspective this DOES NOT make the game a true FPS. Why? Bond is a secret agent, in most movies he never just kick a door and blast everything, he always use stealth as much as he can. However when the alarm is ringing now he has no choice but blast everything he can and escape, if he can of course.
For shooter fans, they are free to shoot everything if they want since it is also a great challenge as long as they respect their mission parameters thou. I prefer stealth though.
For multiplayer fans, they will be disapointed since it is not supported. Personnally, I do not miss the multiplayer(unless there would be cooperative mode) of Goldeneye since deathmatch is just used to attract non-bond fans who enjoys to play deathmatch games like Quake III. I feel stupid playing as Bond and trying to kill each other in a small location. The N64 version has multiplayer support so there should be no complaint for N64 owners.
And on console deathmatches are very limited compared to PC since you have many limitations. If the game would be on PC then it would be more appropriate since you could have a map editor etc...
I can't wait for the next Bond game on Playstation 2(since TWINE has been cancelled on PS2)!

After the EXTREMELEY poor "Tomorrow Never Dies" it was beginning to look as if EA should never had taken the 007 licence of rare. But now TWINE has proven us all wrong. The game may not be up to the same sort of class in gameplay as GoldenEye on the N64 but it's way better then TND. A must buy for playstation owners who have a dream to be 007 without forking out for an all new console (the outdated N64). Top game (but it's a mystery why they left out a multi-player section).

I'm a fan of 007 video games and i must say this game was impressive. If you mixed this and goldeneye together, you get perfect dark. This game has the elements of a real James bond, but the graphics are the dumps. the characters are over sized and shapeless, and their mouths don't move when they speak - there's speech in this game, unlike goldeneye.
007 is trying to figure out who killed an MI6 agent. he goes to the only person who might know, and that guy gets shot. thus leading 007 on a trail of events.
007 has a nice gun, but that's not enough for him to save the world. He gets a bunch of nifty gadgets and gizmos to finish his job. he gets gadgets such as data scramblers, safe crackers, pen grenades, flash bangs, and everything a MI6 agent needs. But he needs the person with the controller to do his bidding perfectly.
This game is a 9/10 game. Rated T for Teen

not as good as tomorrow never dies, but this game is ok. it reflects the game goldeneye for N64, and it seems like a copy off of the nintendo 64 graphics. however, this game is a great game with some of the best graphics on playstation. i give this game an 8/10

- TriviaDue to deadline problems, the producers of the game had to use the Quake engine to complete the game on time. This came about because the movie was in theatres longer than expected, forcing the company for which the producers worked to shorten the time to the deadline. As a result the game lacks the elaborate mazes, site bosses, and hidden clues that made its predecessors famous.
- GoofsWhen Bond tells everyone he ha to go pursue Bullion warning Renard, his wolfram p2k gun doesn't seem to be seen anywhere, but appears on the ground in the next shot.
