Grim little b/w film about an incestuous trapped in a decaying old farmhouse, haunted by their dead mother buried in a nearby swamp. Made to look like a silent film along the lines of House of Usher and Nosferatu. Some of the indoor scenes are a bit too dark and grayish, but overall a pretty convincing "dead" look.
It was clearly shot on a New England location, and a shabby house it is; must be a hundred years old - no Southern hicks, anyway,
Edgar Froese (of Tangerine Dream) did the music score. As it was done in 1980 or 81, it has that classic TD atmosphere closer to the Baumann years (like Phaedra and Sorcerer), before they went "pop". So it's worth checking out if only for the old TD fans.
