Interesting TV FILM!

This film held my interest in the very beginning, going back to the WWII years and a guy named Aidan Quinn dressed in an Army Uniform and starting out with his war bride, Marcia Gay Harden. They were very much in love and their favorite song was, 'See You In My Dreams', which is played through out the entire film. The sweet and in love couple have a son who the father loves very dearly and wants him to achieve all the best things that life has to offer. Lots of drinking goes on and words are said and there is the possibility that a wife is cheating on her husband. The ending of the picture is what life is all about and the prices we pay for the lives we LIVE!

A nightmare

Joe (Aidan Quinn) served in World War II and came home and married Angela (Marcia Gay Harden). Their favorite song was 'See You In My Dreams'. Joe tried to become a sheep rancher, but his life did not work out quite as planned. He showed interest in spending time with his son Ben (played by Will Estes starting when he was a teenager), building a house of bottles that was their very own. But his relationship with his wife and his son hit roadblocks, just like his ranch.

Ben eventually found Ingrid, a girl who he might be able to spend his life with. Joe had a friend in hired man Esteban (Cheech Marin).

The performances may have been good in this movie. It might have even had good writing. I just didn't enjoy it. If I had to pick one performance I liked, it was Marin.
