American Pie 2

American Pie 2 comes to 4K, sequels and straight to DVD films now heading to Blu-ray
Image
Seven more entries in the American Pie series are getting fresh Blu-ray releases – including a 4K release for American Pie 2.

Story updated with new dates.

The American Pie franchise is to be the beneficiary of fresh physical media releases in the UK, thanks to 88 Films. The label has already brough the original film to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, and now it’s got plans for all the others as well.

Let’s do the theatrical sequels first.

Out now, American Pie 2 is available to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. It’s arriving in a pack that includes a Blu-ray as well, one that’s carrying over a copious amount of extra features from previous releases. The 4K transfer is brand new, though. You can find more information on the release, and order yourself a copy, here.

Then, there are deluxe Blu-ray editions of the further two cinematically-released films.

Here’s Why Natasha Lyonne Hasn’t Seen Most of the ‘American Pie’ Movies
Image
Natasha Lyonne has assembled a killer lineup of celebrity guest stars for the second season of Poker Face, but her memory of past collaborations isn’t nearly as impressive. Case in point: She doesn’t remember working with John Cho, the actor who appeared in multiple comedy movies with Lyonne.

“I think that he’s maybe in some of the American Pies,” she guessed while speaking to Deadline.

Here’s a refresher for Lyonne: Cho appeared in American Pie, American Pie 2, American Wedding and American Reunion as “Milf Guy.” Lyonne played smart-ass Jessica in all of those films except for American Wedding, which she apparently forgot to attend. “I’ll be honest, I haven’t seen those,” she confessed. “I did see the first one at the premiere. I do love Chris and Paul Weitz. I do talk a lot of shit about that movie, it’s mostly just...

American Pie 2 comes to 4K and American Reunion gets a new Blu-ray release
Image
Good news for American Pie fans. Two sequels from the theatrically released entries will be getting new physical media releases. The bad news is that these particular releases are from a British distributor, and the normal Blu-rays are Region B. However, American Pie 2 will get an Ultra-hd 4K remastering on a region-free Blu-ray so North American consumers can enjoy it as well. According to Blu-ray.com, 88 Films is releasing the first sequel and the last sequel to the 1999 teen virginity comedy. Both Blu-rays are due to hit retailers in June.

The description for American Pie 2 reads,

“The characters you love are back! One year after the prom-night misadventures immortalized in American Pie, the entire gang has reunited for the summer. Now, an innocent-looking beach house will be transformed into the ultimate party-central. Five guys will discover the powerful bonds of friendship… and Super Glue. Five girls will explore the mysteries of love…...

Natasha Lyonne Almost Forgot ‘Poker Face’s John Cho Was In ‘American Pie’: “I Haven’t Seen Those”
Image
Natasha Lyonne is back on the road for Season 2 of Poker Face, and she brought a few old friends along for the ride.

While discussing the star-studded guest roster of the Peacock show’s sophomore season, the first three episodes available to stream May 8, the actress admitted to Deadline that she wasn’t entirely sure if she’d previously worked with ‘The Sleazy Georgian’ actor John Cho.

“I think that he’s maybe in some of the American Pies,” she said. “I’ll be honest, I haven’t seen those. I did see the first one at the premiere. I do love Chris and Paul Weitz. I do talk a lot of shit about that movie, it’s mostly just because I don’t understand high school or proms or suburbia.”

Despite having only seen the first American Pie (1999), Lyonne played the sarcastic Jessica in the teen film and its...

Surprisingly, American Pie 2 Is the Terminator 2 of Teen Comedies
Image
Fornicating a pie is god-tier filmmaking. Once you reach that echelon, it’s impossible to live up to the standard created. Yet, director J.B. Rogers pulled off—pardon the pun—the impossible, taking a franchise from promising to genius incarnate in American Pie 2. This wasn’t a cheap sequel trying to piggyback off the success of the original. No, it took everything it learnt from before and improved, cementing itself as the Terminator 2 of teen comedies. You see, much like the first Terminator film, American Pie struggled to pinpoint the actual star of the franchise. At first the audience believed it to be Jim Levenstein, aka Sweeny...

Jennifer Coolidge is one of Hollywood’s most beloved comedic talents, known best for her distinctive voice, eccentric acting, and scene-stealing comedic timing. Having broken into the acting scene with comedy, the actress has immense talent yet her career seems to have been largely shaped by just one single franchise: the famous American Pie franchise where she played the iconic Jeanine Stifler, or better known as Stifler’s mom.

Film and Television Locations Destroyed In The Eaton Fire – Photos
Image
Just miles from Hollywood, nestled in the San Gabriel Valley, lies the town of Altadena, which was decimated by the Eaton Fire. Among the thousands of structures burnt down were a number of historic buildings used in movies and TV series.

As the area reopened two weeks after the disaster hit, Deadline was able to survey some of the destruction. Below is a photo record of what is left of the famous buildings, along with pictures of what they looked like before the fire, including images of how they will be remembered from scenes in films and TV shows.

The houses lost include the mansion seen on Max’s award-winning comedy series Hacks, a 1915 Spanish Colonial Revival, with only its facade still standing.

Also destroyed are the Altadena Town & Country Club, seen in Mad Men, Starsky & Hutch, Van Wilder and The Wonder Years; the Eliot Arts Magnet Academy School...

Also gone in the devastating wildfires are pieces of Hollywood history, with a number of historic houses used in iconic movies and TV series threatened or destroyed. That includes the Altadena mansion seen on Max’s award-winning comedy series Hacks.

According to an eyewitness, the 1915 Spanish Colonial Revival mansion has burnt down in the Eaton fire, with only its facade still standing.

There is major concern for the nearby Crank house where Matilda, Scream 2, and Catch Me If You Can were filmed, the house Step Brothers was shot as well as the famed Rubio Street, which includes one of the most heavily used mansions in movies and TV series such as Risky Business and This Is Us.

Afraid: AI horror film from Blumhouse and director Chris Weitz gets a digital release
Image
Sony had been planning to give director Chris Weitz’s horror film They Listen a theatrical release on August 25th of 2023, but in May of last year they decided to delay the release an entire year, pushing They Listen to August 30, 2024. By the time that date rolled around, the movie had been given the new title Afraid (or AfrAId)… and neither the new title nor the new release date worked out for the movie at the box office, because it only ended up making $9 million at the global box office. Just two weeks after its theatrical release, Afraid has now been given a digital release and is available for rent on Amazon’s Prime Video for $9.99. It can also be purchased for the price of $14.99.

Afraid‘s physical media release will follow on November 5th, when it comes to Blu-ray and DVD with the following extras: – 5 Deleted & Extended Scenes including...

Alyson Hannigan Doesn’t Want Her Teen Kids Watching ‘American Pie’
Image
At the ages of 12 and 15, it’s only natural that Alyson Hannigan’s daughters are kinda, sorta curious about mom’s TV and movie roles. But that doesn’t mean Hannigan isn’t going to put off at least some of the viewing for as long as possible, she told Us Weekly.

When her kids were in middle school, they wanted to check out Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the TV series that starred both Hannigan and their dad, Alexis Denisof. Still a little too young, Hannigan thought, so to hold them off, she instead showed them the music video for George Harrison’s “Got My Mind Set on You,” which featured a teenage Denisof trying to win the heart of a carnival girl.

“I accidentally traumatized them,” Hannigan said. “Something happened when they watched that where they didn’t like seeing their dad — even though he is a teenager, looks...

Jason Biggs Marks ‘American Pie’ 25th Anniversary With Netflix Baking Show: “No Pies Harmed”
Image
After 25 years, Jason Biggs took advantage of one of his most memorable roles for some tongue-in-cheek marketing.

The American Pie star, who hosts Netflix‘s Blue Ribbon Baking Championship, joked “there were no pies harmed” while filming the backing competition series, which is “safe for family viewing” and now available on the streamer.

“I’ve really wanted to host something in the food world,” Biggs told USA Today. “Of course, there’s the wink at the camera and the audience with me as a baking show host. And whenever I can’t think of something to say, I always have a pie joke in my back pocket that brings the house down.”

The show’s premiere comes after last month’s milestone anniversary of his breakout role in American Pie (1999), which has long been known for its eponymous scene, in which Biggs’ bumbling teen character Jim fornicates with an apple pie.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire viewers slam show as ‘depressingly easy’ after Sophia Bush episode
Image
Has the popular Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? become too easy since its format changed?

The earliest versions of the game show featured non-celebrity contestants trying to advance up the game board and potentially leave as a million-dollar winner.

With the version that recently returned to ABC, pairs of celebrity contestants are trying to win their way to the million dollars, and any winnings they leave with go to charities they play for.

A recent episode featured actress Sophia Bush and comedian Alex Edelman as one pair and comedian Jeff Ross and Jimmy Kimmel’s Cousin Sal as the other.

During the episode, some fans called out the show based on what they felt were “depressingly easy” questions at the higher levels of the game.

That included a $250,000, which many viewers may or may not have known the answer for.

Is ‘Millionaire’ Losing Its Edge By Dumbing Down Celebrity Questions?

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire fans wonder if the show is losing its edge. After watching a recent episode, some suspicions arose when a celebrity question seemed to be dumbed down. It was as if they were handing it to the players.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Fans Don’t Like The Show Direction

Lately, some Millionaire fans have discussed that the new direction of the show is disappointing. A familiar face, Jimmy Kimmel, returns to the stage to host the show again. However, many people believe that there is too much focus on celebrities instead of the average Joe getting their shot at taking home money.

How To Watch The American Pie Movies In Order
Image
The American Pie franchise has had a lasting impact due to its cast, originality, and memorable moments, making it the quintessential teen comedy. The best way to watch all the American Pie movies is either by release date or chronological order, simplifying the decision-making process. American Pie and American Pie 2 are the most successful entries in terms of box office gross, while American Wedding had the lowest earnings and weakest group dynamic.

Whether in chronological order or by release date, all nine American Pie movies in the franchise are sure to give viewers a good laugh. While the teen comedy genre has faded, American Pie left a strong impression on audiences mainly because of its cast, originality, and ridiculously memorable moments. Even though other teen comedies, like Not Another Teen Movie, She's All That, and Get Over It, have their supporters, American Pie reigns supreme as the quintessential teen comedy franchise.

Alyson Hannigan Explains Why She Initially Refused To Sign On For ‘American Pie 2’

One time, Alyson Hannigan almost missed the bus back to band camp.

Ahead of the 1999 teen movie’s 25th anniversary, the American Pie actress reminisced about her role as lovable band nerd Michelle Flaherty in the raunchy franchise and how she almost wasn’t in the sequels.

She explained that the tiers were “in regards to pay,” adding: “So it’s just scale plus 10 [percent to an agent]. There’s no negotiating on the C-tier because the character is not that important.

“I was like, ‘Okay, fine.’ It was seven days and it was more of a passion project. Then, in the contract, there was a sequel clause,” Hannigan continued.

What Happened to Jennifer Coolidge?
Image
In a 2022 interview for Variety, actor, writer, and director Christopher Guest said, “When I met (Jennifer Coolidge), I knew there was something going on that was special. And I was right, fortunately.” He praised her ability to command attention without commanding the dialogue. “This person stands out. Everyone else to me is invisible. You want to see her.”

We have seen her on our television and theater screens since the early 90s. And 2023 may have been her best year yet.

So, what happened to Jennifer Coolidge, the self-deprecating eccentric humorist and sometimes sex symbol, who owns over 100 credits in television and film? To know that, we must do what we always do: start at the beginning where the beginning began.

Jennifer Coolidge was born in Boston, Massachusetts on August 28, 1961. She says she always looked old for her age, so she was able to buy a case of beer when she...

The Correct Order To Watch The American Pie Movies
Image
The 1999 coming-of-age comedy "American Pie" was a massive hit when it was released in 1999. Starring a who's-who of upcoming teen talent, "American Pie" delved deeply into the more embarrassing sexual details of being an adolescent boy in the modern day. There were scenes involving bodily fluids, oral sex, and multiple references to creative masturbation. While the bulk of the film -- written by Mike Herz and directed by Paul Weisz -- prided itself on aggressive raunchiness, it wisely ended on a sweet note, allowing the characters to realize that despite having had sex, they still have a lot to look forward to on their journey of growing up.

For a while in the early 2000s, Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Mena Suvari, Shannon Elizabeth, Seann William Scott, Thomas Ian Nicholas, and Natasha Lyonne were household names largely because of the "American Pie" movies. To date, the series has made $990 million.

American Pie 5 Story Idea Teased by Reunion Writer
Image
The screenwriter of American Reunion teases a possible storyline for American Pie 5. The potential storyline would explore whether or not the romantic relationship between Jim's dad and Stifler's mom worked out. No American Pie 5 is currently in the works, though a sixth spinoff is in development.

A possible storyline for American Pie 5 has been teased by a screenwriter of American Reunion. The American Pie movies, which began in 1999, form a teen sex comedy franchise that follows the lives of best friends Jim (Jason Biggs), Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas), Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas), and Oz (Chris Klein), as well as their crude, hard-partying acquaintance Stifler (Seann William Scott) and their various love interests. Although five direct-to-dvd spinoffs were also made, the main branch of the franchise includes just four movies: the original, 2001's American Pie 2, 2003's American Wedding, and 2012's American Reunion.

On Twitter, a fan asked Cobra...

American Pie's Seann William Scott Unveils His Surprisingly Unremarkable Pay For the First Film
Image
In an industry where astronomical movie budgets and multi-million dollar actor salaries are common, it might come as a shock to some when a film's breakout star is handed a rather paltry sum. This was precisely the situation for Seann William Scott, the actor who rose to stardom portraying the memorable character Stifler in the 1999 teen comedy, American Pie.

Recently on The Rich Eisen Show, Scott provided an insight into his initial experiences in the movie world, particularly emphasizing the meager pay he took home from a blockbuster that garnered a massive $235.5 million against a modest $11 million budget. This teen laugh-riot didn't just secure its spot as the year's 17th highest earner; it went on to overshadow recognized titles like Inspector Gadget and the award-winning Shakespeare in Love. Nonetheless, the bounty Scott pocketed from this success was unexpectedly limited.

Confirming a longstanding rumor, Scott unveiled that he was paid just...

American Pie Star Reveals His Absurdly Tiny Pay Check: "Ended Up Having To Work As A Churro Guy"

Seann William Scott confirms he was paid only $8,000 for his role in American Pie. He used most of his paycheck to buy a used Thunderbird, but doesn't remember what happened to the rest of the money. Scott had to work at the LA Zoo as a "churro guy" before the movie came out.

American Pie star Seann William Scott opened up about how little he was paid to appear in the teen comedy. American Pie was a smash hit in 1999, earning $235.5 million off a budget of $11 million and becoming the 17th highest-grossing movie of the year, ahead of Inspector Gadget and Best Picture winner Shakespeare in Love. The movie also spawned a long-running franchise that includes four theatrical movies, five direct-to-dvd spinoffs, and an upcoming fifth movie in development.

American Pie 3: Why So Many Characters Didn't Return For American Wedding
Image
Chris Klein's character Oz was not in American Wedding because he wasn't invited to return to the franchise - a decision made "above his pay grade." Other characters like Heather (Mena Suvari), Vicky (Tara Reid), and Jessica (Natasha Lyonne) were also missing from American Wedding due to creative decisions and story constraints. The absence of key characters, including Oz, in American Wedding weakened the group dynamic and led to jokes that fell flat, making it the weakest film in the franchise.

The third movie in the American Pie franchise, American Wedding, reunited the main group for Jim and Michelle’s wedding, except for a couple of characters that played big roles in the first movies – so, why wasn't Oz in American Wedding along with many other cast members? The main movies in the franchise follow the relationship of Jim Levenstein (Jason Biggs) and Michelle Flaherty (Alyson Hannigan), from their...

Jennifer Coolidge and Eddie Kaye Thomas Became Roommates After American Pie
Image
American Pie co-stars Jennifer Coolidge and Eddie Kaye Thomas spent some time as roommates, but life did not imitate art, as the relationship stayed platonic. That's what Coolidge says in a new interview with British GQ, recalling how she once roomed with Thomas after the two had met on the set of American Pie. She says the two lived together in Los Angeles in the early 2000s, but while the characters they played may have gotten intimate in the fictional world of American Pie, the two dated separately when they were roommates.

"I wasn’t the love of his life,” Coolidge recalls with a chuckle. “He had girlfriends. My bedroom was across the hallway from his.”

In the first American Pie film, released in 1999, Coolidge plays Jeanine Stifler, the mother of Steve Stifler (Seann William Scott). Much to the chagrin of Steve, Thomas' Paul Finch, aka "Sh*t Break," manages to seduce Jeanine,...

American Pie 5 Talks Are Happening & They Have a 'Great Idea,' Seann William Scott Reveals
Image
Actor Seann William Scott has revealed that there is now “a great idea” floating around for a further American Pie sequel. Speaking with Comicbook.com, Scott declared that they have a plan for American Pie 5, and that the idea behind it is so good it will even work within these “tough” comedic times.

"I don't know, I just love the character so much. We have to have a great idea, and especially these days, it has to be awesome. You know, comedy is tough, and they have always been tough, but you know, comedies have really changed. But I think, honestly, we have been talking about an idea. I had one and I still have one that we've literally just recently started talking about."

Scott, who has played Steven "Steve" Stifler throughout the main American Pie series, would love to come back for more. Especially if it means seeing a...

They Listen: Blumhouse’s Chris Weitz horror film gets delayed a full year
Image
Sony had been planning to give director Chris Weitz’s horror film They Listen a theatrical release on August 25th of this year, which is why we have it listed on our Summer Horror Movie Preview… but we’re going to have to remove it from that list, because Sony has (according to Yahoo) decided to delay the release an entire year. They Listen is now set to reach theatres on August 30, 2024.

They Listen is coming to us from Sony, Blumhouse, and Depth of Field. Weitz is producing the film with Jason Blum and Andrew Miano. Bea Sequeira, Dan Balgoyen, Britta Rowings, and Paul Davis serve as executive producers. Filming was already underway in Los Angeles back in December, so this movie is going to be complete and sitting on a shelf a while before its new release date rolls around next year.

All details about They Listen are being kept under wraps.

Shannon Elizabeth told people not to see American Pie because of accent troubles
Image
1999’s American Pie was a sensation upon release, launching the careers–however quickly some fizzled out–of its core cast. The American Pie ensemble had several breakouts, but one who made her own impact on both the horny teen characters and wide-eyed male moviegoers was Shannon Elizabeth, who played foreign exchange student Nadia. But Elizabeth didn’t want anyone to see it at all.

Reflecting on her experience shooting American Pie, Shannon Elizabeth said Czech bombshell Nadia wasn’t nearly as fun to play as she was to watch. Yet it has nothing to do with baring it all on the world wide web (in the famous scene featured in the thorough documentary Skin: A History of Nudity in the Movies), but rather post-production problems. “When I did American Pie, they called me in to do Adr [additional dialogue recording]. They were like, ‘We’re gonna play with the accent.’ So I’d...

Shannon Elizabeth Was ‘Devastated’ After ‘American Pie’ Screwed With Her Accent: ‘They’re Ruining It’ and ‘This Movie’s Gonna Suck’
Image
Shannon Elizabeth became a teen movie icon with her breakthrough role in 1999’s “American Pie.” She played Nadia, the foreign exchange student from Czech Republic who Jason Biggs’ Jim wants to lose his virginity to before high school graduation. Elizabeth recently revealed on the “Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum” podcast (via The Independent) that she was left “devastated” by the film after the post-production team screwed with her accent. Elizabeth said the accent in the film was not what she originally wanted.

“When I did American Pie, they called me in to do Adr,” Elizabeth said. “They were like, ‘We’re gonna play with the accent.’ So I’d say something and then they’d go, ‘Ok, do less of an accent.’ I was like, ‘Why are they messing with this accent so much?’ I had worked really hard with a dialect coach on this.”

“I told all my friends,...

Jennifer Coolidge Would Return As Stifler's Mom In American Pie Sequels
Image
Jennifer Coolidge has revealed that she is willing to return in future American Pie movies in her own inimitable way. One of her early roles was an appearance in the original 1999 sex comedy American Pie, directed by Chris and Paul Weitz. She played the mother of Seann William Scott's rambunctious cad Steve Stifler, a woman whose appearance inspired the popularization of the term "Milf" and who eventually slept with her son's friend Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas). She would return to the role three times in each of the film's official sequels: 2001's American Pie 2, 2003's American Wedding, and 2012's American Reunion.

Last night, NBC aired The 80th Golden Globes, where Coolidge won a trophy for her supporting role on the HBO series The White Lotus.

During her acceptance speech, Coolidge thanked the people who kept her career alive with "cute little jobs" over the years, including Legally Blonde...

They Listen: John Cho, Katherine Waterston star in Chris Weitz horror film
Image
Chris Weitz went uncredited on his feature directorial debut American Pie, which he directed alongside his brother Paul Weitz, but since then he has earned directing credits on Down to Earth, About a Boy, The Golden Compass, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, A Better Life, and Operation Finale. He dealt with some horror elements in the Twilight movie, but now Deadline reports that he is going all-in on horror with his new film They Listen. They also report that Katherine Waterston (Alien: Covenant) and John Cho (Searching) have signed on to star in the film.

This makes They Listen a continuation of a working relationship between Weitz and Cho that stretches all the way back to American Pie. Weitz has only directed Cho in two movies previously, American Pie and Down to Earth, but Weitz was a producer on American Pie 2, American Wedding, American Reunion, See This Movie, In Good Company,...

New American Pie Movie With A 'Fresh Take' Coming From Actor And Filmmaker Sujata Day
Image
Just when you thought you'd sung the words, "Bye, bye, Miss American Pie," for the last time, Universal Pictures is ready to reheat the pie and kindly offer you some more. And you better like it because this is a multimillion-dollar film franchise and it's too expensive to pie you in the face with it. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a new "American Pie" movie is in the oven, based on an original pitch that is said to offer a "fresh take" on the 23-year-old sex comedy film series.

Sujata Day, known for her roles in Issa Rae and Larry Wilmore's HBO series, "Insecure," as well as Rae's web series "The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl," is the up-and-coming filmmaker behind this new "American Pie" pitch. There are no specific details available yet for what the plot or angle of the pitch is, but Day is known for her...

Jennifer Coolidge Says She Got "A Lot of Sexual Action" After American Pie
Jennifer Coolidge
Before Jennifer Coolidge was Tanya McQuoid on The White Lotus or Paulette Bonafonté in Legally Blonde, she was "Stifler's Mom" in American Pie. And, according to Coolidge herself, viewers were drawn to the actress both on and offscreen. "You know, I got a lot of play at being a Milf and I got a lot of sexual action from American Pie," she said in a video for Variety's latest cover story. "There were so many benefits to doing that movie. I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would've never had slept with." Coolidge, 60, played the mother of Stifler (Seann William Scott) in the 1999 movie and its sequels, which included American Pie 2 (2001),...

Kate McKinnon’s Alien Abductee Returns for ‘Saturday Night Live’ Season Finale Cold Open
Image
In a sign that perhaps the departing “Saturday Night Live” stars are returning to their greatest hits as they head out the door, this week’s cold open featured a wild sendoff for at least two of them. For Kate McKinnon, that meant her fan favorite alien abductee Ms. Rafferty, who once again shared a wildly inappropriate experience with Nsa officers played by Aidy Bryant and Mikey Day.

After showcasing her experience, McKinnon as Ms. Rafferty headed off into space, after one last goodbye. This clearly doubled as a McKinnon goodbye as well. “I kind of felt like an alien on this planet anyway,” the character said. “Well Earth, I love you, thanks for letting me stay awhile. Live from New York, it’s Saturday night!”

The clip opened with Bryant and Day, and sustained applause — clearly directed at Bryant, who is also departing after this episode.

McKinnon has played Ms.

Ernie Lively, Actor in ‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’ Movies, Dies at 74
Image
Ernie Lively, the actor who appeared in beloved movies “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” and “Turner & Hooch,” has died. He was 74.

A representative for Lively confirmed his death to Variety.

In the two “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” movies, which came out in 2005 and 2008, Lively portrayed the father of Bridget, played by his real-life daughter, Blake Lively. The “Gossip Girl” star wasn’t the only one to be inspired by her father’s career. His other children — Jason, Eric, Robyn and Lori — built careers in film in television as well. Mentorship was a big part of Lively’s life. From the late ’80s through most of the ’90s, he coached Hollywood’s young working actors, such as Brittany Murphy, Casper Van Dien and Jason Priestley.

The Maryland native was born in Baltimore in January 1947 and earned his first acting credit at age 28 with an appearance on “The Waltons.

American Pie 5 Has a Script and Will Happen Eventually Teases Tara Reid
Image
American Pie star Tara Reid has teased a fifth sequel to the hugely popular teen comedy franchise, confirming that a script for American Pie 5 is ready. While there have been a whole host of spin-offs branching off from the 1999 original, it has now been close to a decade since audiences last caught up with the American Pie gang. However, according to Reid, fans may not have to wait too much longer.

"It might happen... okay, I can't tell you when, because I don't really know when, because we have to get all the actors and at the same time to get our schedules together. There is a script out there. I'll put it that way."

Tara Reid, who has played the character Vicky, throughout the series, sounds pretty confident that an America Pie 5 will be in her and cinema-goers future, adding that the logistics of bringing the cast together...
