Well, for a Disney Movie, I would have to say that this was pretty good. Obviously, it has no artistic value... But it is pretty entertaining. If you want a good time, but don't want to have to concentrate very hard on plot, ect. this is a good movie. The kid who played Adam did very well, I thought. This could launch a good career.
I love every disney movie, even though they are pretty predictable. I am a HUGE fan of Matt O'leary, maybe the biggest fan, and this was his first movie. I loved his performance and he does a great job in every movie. The other actors did GREAT and it was a very cute and enjoyable movie. I especially loved the ending when love made her wake up from the trance. VERY GOOD i recommend it to everyone.

When I first heard the title to this movie, I thought it'd be stupid. When I came across it on tv, I found it was entertaining, funny, and suspense down to the wire. One of the funniest parts was when Chelsea Hansen got grounded for rubbing salt into her younger brother Adams' wounds who had just got grounded. Overall this was a fun movie to watch.
Yes, it's definitely typical Disney fare. However, they managed to make it somewhat interesting and suspenseful without any gore whatsoever. And that's an accomplishment.
The plot was thin, some of the special effects tacky, some of the dialogue was corny as hell.
But, the ending of this movie was worth it. Rather than being evil and monstrous, the vampire was comedic. During one scene, he yells "Give me back my coffin!" and it was hilarious. Another, involving the look on the mother's face during a key moment, was priceless. Wonderful performance by the actor who plays the elder son. He could be another Malcolm in the Middle.
I never would've seen this film if it weren't for my daughter, but I suppose I can say that for most Disney TV movies. Whether or not I would have initially chosen to watch it, I thought it was great and I'd watch it again. Whether or not it's art, it kept me interested the entire time.

Mom's Got A Date With A Vampire (2000)
This movie is a pretty good Halloween movie. Every Halloween on the Disney channel, they play this movie, and I can't help myself from just sitting down to watch it. Caroline Reah and Charles Shaugnessy give good performances, and Matthew O'Leary gives a fairly good performance, as well as Laura Vandervoort. This movie has the wit to demonstrate a classic Halloween story and make you laugh every once and a while. It's pretty good for a kids movie, and it's pretty fun to watch around Halloween. 8/10.
