Trivia

Survivor Series

Edit
Don Muraco was not originally planned to be a part of the main event. He was a substitute for "Superstar" Billy Graham, who was unable to compete due to his injured hip.
Raymond Rougeau was never tagged in and had no involvement in the tag team elimination match.
For years, this P.P.V of the "First Annual Survivor Series" was only available in a heavily edited version. The official video release had a running time of just under 2 hours. Many years later, a fuller version of approximately 158 minutes was briefly released on DVD. All the matches were presented uncut for the first time.
The video release of this event was one of the rarest in the entire WWE video catalogue.
On the Coliseum Video, during the tag team match The British Bulldogs' (The Dynamite Kid (Tommy Billington) and Davey Boy Smith) elimination is edited out. There is no mentioning of who eliminates them or how. For the record, the Bulldogs were eliminated after Haku (Tonga Fifita) pinned the Dynamite Kid at the 19:57 mark with a kick to the face after Dynamite had hurt himself doing a diving headbutt from the middle turnbuckle.
