Sleazy 1977 Romano Scavolini film which involves spies that assist in torture,rape and murder.An American photographer unwittingly brings footage of torture by the Greek military junta into the USA along with proof of America's involvement in it.He's pursued by inept and heavy handed henchmen leaving a trail of bloody and brutal murders in their wake.Slightly gruesome opening scene shows a man having a large instrument inserted into his penis.The atmosphere is suitably gritty,but "Savage Hunt" is not as disturbingly violent and gory as Scavolini's "Nightmare".The characters are often one-dimensional and the dialogue is funny.7 out of 10.
