- Taylor: So, how's therapy?
- Jane: Sucks.
- Taylor: Do you have to go again?
- Jane: Yeah. My mother thinks it'll convert me.
- Taylor: Heh. Believe me, if that were true, a lot of queers would flock to therapists. I mean - life would be easier if we were straight. But who wants easy, right? Who wants to fit into this mold? We're trailblazers - unique and to ourselves. We're special.
- Jane: Yeah. We're special alright. We can't even go anywhere. Nowhere is safe.
- Jane: The amazing thing about change is that everyone can do it. Even the people you least expect it from.
- Jane: [Jimmy answers the door and sees Jane] I've got a problem, Jimmy.
- Jimmy: Come on in.
- [Jane comes inside and they both sit down]
- Jimmy: All right... tell me what it is.
- Jane: My mom recieved this anonymous phone call from a person who said that they saw me kissing a girl and when she asked me about it I told her it wasn't true.
- Jimmy: Okay, you lost me. It doesn't sound like you have a problem.
- Jane: ...but I lied to her. I DID kiss a girl. And I slept with a girl.
- Janice: You stay away from my daughter or I'm gonna have you fired!
- Ms. Walcott: That would be a bit hard. I'm her teacher.
- Janice: And you're also gay!
- Dr. Sanders: Why do you think you're here?
- Jane: Because my mother said I had to come, and to shut her up I came. Sharing with you isn't part of the deal.
