There are certain Power Rangersseasons that, since they first aired, have been hailed as the pinnacle of the franchise. Seasons like Power Rangers in Space, Power Rangers Spd, and Power Rangers Rpm are near-universally loved, even with the fandom being able to acknowledge their respective flaws. But, when it comes to Power Rangers Time Force, I think most fans fail to realize just how many issues it has.

Power Rangers Time Force is commonly held up as a masterpiece, but it's far from the best season in the franchise. I love the season, and it features some of the most engaging characters and storylines in the series, along with one of the most talented casts of actors.

The new Hallmark+ limited series Holidazed is about holiday revelations, and family connections while starring a bevy of stars.

Hallmark Media is premiering its first-ever, limited holiday series Holidazed with the first two episodes airing on November 14 on Hallmark+. The new series stars Loretta Devine, Dennis Haysbert, Ser-Darius Blain, Virginia Madsen, John C. McGinley, Holland Roden, Lucille Soong, Osric Chau, Noemi Gonzalez, Lindy Booth, Rachelle Lefevre, Ian Harding and Erin Cahill.

Hallmark Channel’s Fall Into Love 2024 programming event is already underway and the feel-good network’s penultimate movie is Autumn At Apple Hill.

Of Power Rangers' four eras, two have been produced by Saban. The first era of Power Rangers, the Saban Era, begins with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 1 and ends with Power Rangers Time Force. The Neo-Saban Era, meanwhile, is the third era of the franchise, and runs from Power Rangers Samurai through Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel.

Both the Saban and Neo-Saban Eras of Powers Rangers are mixed bags. Both contain seasons which are heavily flawed, and fan-favorites that are viewed as all-time greats. Power Rangers Time Force offers more character development and higher stakes compared to Mighty Morphin. Jen Scott's story stands out from other Pink Rangers, making her one of the most important characters in the franchise.

Kimberly is one of the most iconic Power Rangers of all time, but I believe that the greatest Pink Ranger in the franchise was only introduced in the 2000s. Power Rangers has a rare amount of villains that turn over a new leaf. Ransik and Astronema are great examples of villains that turned out to be good for the right reasons. Even still, it could be argued these villains may not have earned their redemption.

A season of Power Rangers will typically feature an irredeemable evil main villain who's defeated by the heroes in the finale. Lightspeed Rescue stands out as a unique Power Rangers season with a self-contained story and a different approach to editing and cinematography. Carter Grayson is a beloved Red Ranger, likened to Captain America, who displays bravery and leadership in the face of danger. The character relationships, gripping drama, and action-packed rescue missions make Lightspeed Rescue a standout season in the Power Rangers franchise.

Certain Power Rangers series have reputations as being the cream of the prop. Ask any fan of the franchise which seasons are their favorites, and names that will inevitably come up are Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Power Rangers Time Force, and Power Rangers in Space. There are also seasons that most fans agree to be among the less favorable, such as Power Rangers Megaforce, Power Rangers Ninja Steel, and Power Rangers Operation Overdrive. But oddly enough, Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue rarely comes up with either of these conversations.

Anti-heroes are more interesting than brainwashed villains in the Power Rangers series. Time Force introduced the Quantum Ranger, an anti-hero who broke the formula as an extra Red Ranger. Power Rangers Time Force is considered one of the best seasons due to its mature tone and complex characters.

The coolest of Power Rangers’ Red Rangers was not a team leader but rather the series’ perfect anti-hero. The Super Sentai shows Power Rangers covers often include at least one extra Ranger, which has led to a classic trope of a sixth hero joining the team at some point in the season. A significant portion of those characters were introduced as evil Rangers, such as Green Ranger Tommy Oliver or Titanium Ranger Ryan Mitchell. Evil Rangers stories can get repetitive, which is why having anti-heroes instead of brainwashed villains can be much more interesting.

With a title like Ninja vs Shark you might think this is another Mark Polonia film along the lines of Sharkula or Shark Encounters of the Third Kind. Or maybe one of the more bizarre Chinese kaiju films such as Land Shark. But you’d be wrong, it’s actually a Japanese film written by Junichiro Ashiki and directed by Kôichi Sakamoto.

During Japan’s Edo Period, Sayo, a pearl diver from the village of Okitsu, swims back to shore only to find the remains of one of her fellow divers washed up on the beach. This has been happening a lot since Lord Koshiro Mizuchi of the Crimson Devil Clan demanded the villagers hand over their pearls to him. When they refused he used sorcery to turn the sharks into living weapons.

Power Rangers' sci-fi seasons are among the best entries in the franchise, featuring androids, time travel, and space exploration. Some standout sci-fi seasons include Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, Power Rangers Time Force, and Power Rangers Spd. Power Rangers In Space and Power Rangers Lost Galaxy were the first to successfully combine the Power Rangers formula with sci-fi elements, delivering mature and impactful storytelling.

The Power Rangers universe includes 30 seasons of television, many of which belong in the sci-fi genre. While every Power Rangers TV show follows the basic premise introduced in Mighty Morphin, the franchise has evolved a lot since the final days of the Zordon Era. Some of the best entries in the Power Rangers chronology could not be more different from Mighty Morphin, including the shows that delved into the sci-fi aspect of the saga.

Starting with Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, most of the seasons have been standalone stories.

Power Rangers star Jason David Frank has unveiled his next planned movie, which will bring in several other stars from the franchise to star alongside the martial artist. Called Legend of the White Dragon, the official Kickstarter page for the project was just launched, seeking a $500,000 budget by way of crowdfunding. A new poster and official trailer have also been released, giving potential donors an idea of what to expect from the final product. In the style of pessimism, fatalism, intrigue and plenty of twist and turns, director-actor Blayne Weaver’s Cut To The Chase delivers a fascinating film about a man who enters the underworld of Louisiana in order to search for his missing sister while being pursued by a notorious crime boss.

The film stares Weaver in the title role. Lance Henriksen (Aliens), Lyndie Greenwood (Sleepy Hollow) and Erin Cahill (Power Rangers Time Force) also star in the film.

The film opens theatrically nationwide on February 28 and will be available on VOD/Digital download on March 7. A DVD release is set in August.
