This film though made almost 50 years ago ranks as one of the best film made in Gujrati.Nirupa Roy - Manhar Desai still rank as best actors of Gujrati films. The music was superb ' Avinash Vyas is unparalleled music director . He was a song writer and Music director par excellence.'Bhabhi tame thoda thods thav varanagi" describes what is modern and what is traditional." " Raakh na ramakada " is a philosophical song how britle is life and we are all toys in the hands of god.The song sung by A>R>Oza and geetadutt still is popular and is sung in almost all programmes. It is surprising that this pioneer film was .family story but later on Gujarati film industry degenerated and turned towards films about outlaws and dacoits full of cheap dialogues and vulgar dances.Gun sandari the title of the story describes the character of heroine in the film
