The clip below shows a woman that has been possessed by multiple demons, four to be exact. The demonic possession almost resembles multiple personality disorder. What the hell? In 1989, ABC premiered the Perfect Strangers spin-off Family Matters, which featured a relatively unknown cast. Although the series focused on a middle-class African American family in Chicago, the breakout star was the Winslows' annoyingly dorky neighbor, Steve Urkel. Twenty years later, Jaleel White, who played Urkel, still looks back at the show that catapulted him into stardom with fond memories and says that, yes, people still ask him to do the famous "Urkel" voice. The 33-year-old spoke to TVGuide.com about his favorite memories from his nine seasons on the show, the first season of which is in stores on DVD Tuesday.

One of the great topics of TV discussion is the "which spinoffs are better than the original shows?" discussion. Are there actually TV show spinoffs that are better than the shows that spawned them?

Woman's Day named their ten picks. I agree that Knot's Landing is better than Dallas and NCIS is probably better than Jag. Not sure if I agree with Family Matters being a better show than Perfect Strangers. Frasier better than Cheers? Hmm, probably not. Also: is Family Feud really a spinoff of Match Game just because both starred Richard Dawson? I guess it could be, I've just never heard that piece of information before.

I'd pick The Andy Griffith Show (from The Danny Thomas Show). Of course, we could talk about this endlessly (though not as endlessly as we could talk about spinoffs that are worse than the show that spawned them). What are your picks?...

Ideas flit in and out of focus as all the while a plastic drinking straw is furiously twiddled between his fingers. The remake bug has made its transition from the big screen to the small screen. This infectious virus, which the Cdc (Center for Disease Control) has categorized as the most aggressive ever, has been mutated and become a full-fledged epidemic among the major television networks. It started a couple of years ago when NBC tried to remake two classic shows from the 70’s and 80’s, Bionic Woman and Knight Rider.

ABC has already showed symptoms of the bug with its most recent remakes of V and Melrose Place. Now, according to Variety, ABC’s next attempt will be the 70’s female spy show Charlie’s Angels. Josh Friedman, who helped adapt Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles for Fox, Leonard Goldberg who was a producer for the original Charlie’s Angels, Steve McPherson, and Drew Barrymore (who was in the movie version of the show in 2000 and its 2003 sequel) are all attached to the project.

The High School Musical 3 soundtrack. Wow. How do I begin with this one? I remember a time when Disney made films that really didn’t patronize their audience. They were making films that the whole family could go see together. They had staying power. When they were re-released twenty or thirty years later, they still held up. I understand that “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” is meant for Middle School kids (because lets face it, if you’re in High School, would you watch this? Maybe you would, I don’t know) but that still doesn’t diminish the fact that these are some of the tritest, self centered, clichéd teen drivel songs ever to be sung by human beings.

CANNES -- U.K. productions again dominated the nominations of the 30th annual International Emmy Awards, with British shows earning nine nominations, more than twice that of second-place nation Germany, which received four noms. The International Emmy nominations were announced Monday at MIPCOM in Cannes by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, a division of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, which represents broadcasters in more than 50 countries. The awards honor excellence in non-U.S. television programming. U.K. productions were nominated in every International Emmy category except best documentary, with Yorkshire Television's At Home With the Braithwaites making the cut for the best drama series nom, Gaslight Prods.'
