I Have watched this movie as part of my mission of watching all Padmarajan Movies . He is one of my favorite directors. This movie is also an example of skill as a director who can visualize all kind of subject and portray it beautifully in celluloid

Mohanlal and mammootty, Karthika do their acting effortlessly. There are three more female characters who are suspects in the crime.

The flip side of the movie is that, The investigating officer is not reaching the culprit using his intelligence ,by chance he reaches to him.

Unexpected ending . All are seasoned actors . Even young Karthika as Mamooty's long lost illegitimate daughter is on top . She shines in her small role looking for a father figure . Mamooty , the famous film director is found dead one day . The investigating officer Mohan lal is going around investigating . A lot of interesting suspects and their intentions come to light .

Rahman is cute as a young confused lover , brother of Mohan lal.

Jalaja , Unni Mary and Sripriya shine in their roles as Mamooty's love interests at various times of his life . A lot of twists and turns take place among all four . Mamooty is misunderstood as Karthika's love interest by his ex lover Sripriya .

He is not aware that she is his own daughter with Sripriya . She had left town a few years back after a short affair with him. His flirty nature is well known to all .

She fears the worst and comes to warn him but finds him already dead . He only has paternal feelings towards her since the start . Sripriya , Karthika's mother understands this much later .

Each suspect has a genuine reason to kill him .

Makes a thrilling watch. The real culprit is known only in the last scene.
