After the exciting second installment, School Spirits on Paramount+ has acquired a wider audience intrigued with the paranormal plot. Following the shocking reveal that Maddie Nears was still alive at the end of Season 1, the latest season focused on how to return the trapped spirit to her body. This included overlapping mysteries, a couple of suspenseful twists, and an intense finale that left viewers wanting more.

Just like in the initial installment, School Spirits Season 2 concluded on a shocking cliffhanger that leaves one character's fate uncertain. However, this isn't unlike the situation Maddie found herself in at the beginning of the storyline. We have some tragic news to report out of the TV world as it has been revealed that Michelle Trachtenberg has died.

According to The New York Post, the veteran TV star’s body was found by her mother at around 8 a.m. on Wednesday in New York.

A cause of death has not been determined, but the outlet’s sources claim the 39-year-old recently underwent a liver transplant.

After nearly a two-year wait, Paramount+ has finally released the second season of School Spirits. The paranormal teen drama is not well-known but has an overall positive rating from critics and audiences. In the first season, viewers were wrapped up in the mysterious death of teen spirit Maddie Nears. However, in a shocking season finale twist, it was revealed that Maddie didn't die at all but was possessed by another wayward spirit.

This thrilling plot and twist ending kept viewers engaged and interested in the next season of School Spirits. However, the true gem of the series is the complex and entertaining cast of characters. Though all of these teen ghosts reasonably fit into the tortured spirit narrative, they're also well-rounded, with detailed backstories and interesting personalities to keep viewers engaged.
