King's Quest: Quest for the Crown (1984)

FAQ

King's Quest: Quest for the Crown

    Yes there are:

    1. By typing Alt+D, you get into what some people call a "debug mode".

    2. When in the Alt+D/"debug" mode, you can type "get object" and then type a number from 1 to 25 for valid objects that are in the game but you can also press "26" to get a particularly strange "object". Or you can press various other buttons like "0" or "n" and you get an object called "?" which doesn't come with any description at all (the '26' "object" comes with a "description" in the form of smiley icons).

    3. When in the Alt+D/"debug" mode, you can type "object" (it differs from "get object") and then type a number from 0 to 255 to see programming data such as "xsize" and "ysize".

    4. When in the Alt+D/"debug" mode, you can type "tp" and then type a number from 1 and 80 to get transported to the corresponding place (for example: if you type "40", you get transported to the screen where the gnome resides).

    5. When in the Alt+D/"debug" mode, you can type "pos" and then two different numbers (one for the "x" angle and one for the "y" angle) to move the character (Graham) to various different positions on the screen.
