Briefly spent time in the #1 slot on IMDb's "Bottom 250" list of worst movies.
Another actor was originally cast for the role of Norman but he didn't show up the day of filming. David DeCoteau finally got hold of him and the actor said he couldn't get out of a prior gig. DeCoteau called Trent Latta, who had also auditioned, and offered him the role if he could come over immediately. Latta rushed to set and everyone stayed late filming 22 pages of dialogue to catch up for lost time.
Filmed in four days to cash in on the success of The Mummy (1999).
