Major nostalgia attack

Have no doubt, this is a silly movie. Bearing the Dalianidis' signature, it was bound to be. So the value of this movie does not lie in either the jokes, the scenario or the failed effort to make a movie that is "in" (by using supposedly cool youth-speak and gestures).

The real value lies behind all of that.

For everybody who grew up in late 70s - early 80s Greece this is a nostalgic extravaganza. It's the background in every scene, the buildings, the cars, the clothes, the radio amateurs (the "pirates"), the "discotheques", the music, the atmosphere and even the all-star, ever-present cast of 80s cult actors like Psaltis, Gardelis, Mihalopoulos, Bostantzoglou, Finou, Pagrati, Pikoula and Aliberti. Also an unforgettable Adamantidis afro look!

So what more really to say? While you as a 30-something know it is silly, you will not leave your eyes from the screen since it offers a direct link to your youth.

Great 80's movie!

For the Greeks one of the funniest 80's movies...!A lot of great actors and a wonderful company of them.Nobody of the non-Greeks will not understand the greatness of this movie and my comment won't be helpful for them unfortunately...Anyway,words are less for this movie!(the meaning of the title is:First of all Hello!) I also agree with the comment of -misel982001 from Greece-: For older people who now are at their 60's and 70's , this movie can be a perfect example to show to their children or grandchildren of how the Greek society was in the 80's. A careful viewer will see the Athenian neighborhoods full of happy people, the smile in everybody's face, the -then- nightlife, how teenagers spent their time, the very few cars on the roads, even the relationships that people had then... Although the purpose of this movie is far away from what I describe (it is a pure comedy and not a documentary!) if a viewer may want to see how Athens was in the 80's this is his movie! Besides this, Stathis Psaltis gives a strong performance that makes everyone laugh, the cast fits perfectly for the roles

Psaltis at his best

Possibly Psaltis best movie.Accopanied by new actors who give their best and provide us with two hours of laughter.80s climate and Dalianidis behind the camera.Enjoy.

A perfect example of how Greece was in the 80's...

While this movie is very fun to watch and laugh, it still has some other very important issues: For older people who now are at their 60's and 70's , this movie can be a perfect example to show to their children or grandchildren of how the Greek society was in the 80's. Besides this, Stathis Psaltis gives a strong performance that makes everyone laugh, the cast fits perfectly for the roles and this is a movie that will continue to be fun to see even in the 2020's!!!

Probably the best Stathis Psaltis' film

While being a classic example of the decadence of Greek cinema, this film is easy to watch and even 20 years later, it is still worth watching it. Tagline: "Koula, poly kwlopaido o Kyriakos" 7/10
