Trivia

Trop c'est trop

Edit
The town of Beaver, Oregon, does exist. It is located 20 miles south of Tillamook, OR, and 20 miles east of the Pacific Ocean. However, no scenes in this movie were filmed there.
Suzanne Somers' final film.
The limo Suzanne Somers arrives in, is a stretched version of the Lincoln Town Car. It should also be noted that October 16th, the birthday of Suzanne Somers, would also be the day of the year that historical figure Antoine Cadillac passed away, but Somers was born in the year 1946, while Antoine Cadillac passed away on October 16, 1730, over two centuries apart. Eerily enough, Suzanne died on October 15, 2023.

Another luxury car company, Cadillac, has a role in the auto industry similar to Lincoln. While Lincoln is part of Ford Motor Company, Cadillac would be part of General Motors, two competitors of the 'Big Three' American automakers. Interestingly, both Lincoln and Cadillac were founded by the same guy, that being Henry Leland before they each got bought out by competing auto company giants.
Briefly features Return of the Tres, performed by Delinquent Habits - a song prominently featured in Un gentleman en cavale (2001), a movie Orlando Jones starred in prior to this film.
This was originally set to be directed by Peter Berg.
