The film's closing credits declare that this production was: ''Filmed on location in Palm Beach, Whale Beach and Narrabeen, New South Wales, Australia''.
The name of the motel was the ''Rocky Beach Motel''.
The name of the commercial being filmed at the start of the film was ''Sheena''. A film with that title in real life would debut in cinemas about three years later [See: Sheena, reine de la jungle (1984)].
The film did not receive a theatrical release in its native Australia, but went straight to home video, bar a few theatrical screenings. The picture in December 1981 was intended to get a theatrical release but local distributors wouldn't have a bar of it.
