Portraits of teens around an accident. A difficult love story, conflicts between parents and their children, strange apartaments ,few fists of cliches, the beautiful scene of dance and the clash between the world of adults and teenagers, forms of cruelty and deep loneliness.
One of Romanian films of the last decade of Ceausescu regime, the educational theme being the axis of a film in which Stelian Nistor as Radu is the real star from the young actors.
Today, as many Romanian films before 1990 year, Prea cald pentru luna mai reminds the lights of a lost time. You can not be very critic about it for simple nostalgia thrill. You admire the acting of consacrated stars of time, in many, too many scenes sabotaged by script of Petru Salcudeanu, and recognize the sentimentalism encouraged in veils of psychological analysis. And, off course, the dialogue remains, often, one of real problems of film but not surprise for the period.
