This lead the director to start a war against Norwegian cinema rules, and made a documentary about this as his next film, also containing an illegal outdoor screening of the film in Hønefoss, while stopped by the local police.
This movie was made available in 2024 when it was released on inter-regional (region free) Blu-Ray Disk by Norske Filmklassikere (Norwegian Film Classics), Norsk Filmdistribusjon and Platekompaniet as the 22nd release in a new series with classics, NFK0022, with subtitles in English, and is supposed to be held in stock for film lovers.
