Jail shooting was fun and scary for Raghubir Yadav
Raghubir Yadav
Mumbai, August 1: Raghubir Yadav says he spent almost 20 days shooting in a real jail in Goa for the upcoming film "Calapor", in which he plays a warden. Recounting the experience, the actor says it was both fun and scary.

"We shot there for some 15 to 20 days. The place feels good also and sometimes very scary. The environment was different and life is different there," the 55-year-old said in an interview here.

"It was a good experience as I got to live a new and different life there," he added.

In a Cult of their own (Part – I)
Films that gained a ‘cult following’ over the years, despite being unnoticed on release

Back in the 80s, all we had was Doordarshan. Anything you wanted to know about cinema, mythology, world literature, astronomy, science fiction, history; it was all there – right in your living room. So, in that glorious age of kitsch, I remember noticing this bubbly-looking but rather demure young woman in two films – one was Raghuveer Yadav-starrer Massey Sahib (1985) and this obscure film with an interesting name – In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones (1989). Raghuvir Yadav Lucky In Career, But Unlucky In Personal Life
Raghuvir Yadav

Raghuvir Yadav is in a fix with respect to his family. He is longing to meet his son who he claims is the reason why he is alive

Peepli [Live] (2010) actor Raghuvir Yadav is facing a difficult time with his personal life. Although Yadav has managed to be recognized positively by critics for his films like Massey Sahib (1985), Salaam Bombay! (1988), Lagaan (2001), he has always been unfortunate in his personal front.

The actor has not been allowed to visit his son and his ex-wife Poornima has asked for a huge amount of alimony which he cannot afford. He claims, “I don’t know who to blame. May be it is because of bad karmas in my past life.” He had also been arrested for kidnapping his son Achal.

Raghuvir Yadav will be seen in Ek Tha Bura Tiger, in Nagesh Kukunoor’s Mod, and in Rakesh Ranjan Kumar’s Dear Friend Hitler.
