ÄWPK- Älywapaa palokunta (1984-85) is a sketch comedy show of 17 episodes by Pertsa Reponen and Kai Sievers.The actors are all superb.Heikki Kinnunen did all the 17 episodes.His counterpart in many shows and movies, Leo Lastumäki had to leave the show after eight episodes.Today we heard sad news about the passing of Mr. Lastumäki at the age of 84.This big man had a great career, and he's mainly known from his comedy work.And he sure had the ability to make people laugh.Leo Lastumäki shall be greatly missed.Then there are those women.First there was Titta Jokinen, but she had to leave after 6 episodes because of the maternity leave.For three episodes there was Kristiina Elstelä.Then there were seen people like Maija-Leena Soinne, Aake Kalliala and Erkki Liikanen.This show is one of the many sketch shows of the 80's, and the humor of it is very funny.We all remember the "Onks Viljoo näkyny?" guy.It was all Kinnunen's brilliance that made the character work.Same with Lastumäki, who was also a part of those sketches.Music also has a big role in this show, and it also works.So why don't you sing along and laugh with Heikki, Leo and the rest of the gang.
