This film is the only time Shahrukh Khan and Shakti Kapoor appeared but they didn't have any exchange of dialogues in the film, although they did share some scenes and Kapoor talked about Khan and vice versa. They were in the film Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega but Shahrukh Khan was in a guest role.
Shahrukh Khan's ear ring in the film had become style statement.
Shahrukh Khan wanted to include a remix by Bally Sagoo in the film. But by then the film was complete and ready for release. It was too late to add it in the film.
This film was third film as director after Raju Bangaya Gentleman & Yes Boss. Aziz Mirza before was making tv serials.
