The best Chespirito series

While El Chavo and El Chapulin Colorado might be considered the most iconic creations of Roberto Gómez Bolaños, I think this could be easily considered his best series.

The humor, while being just as family-friendly as usual, included more mature, subtle jokes, rather than relying mostly on slapstick. It's true that El Chavo still makes me laugh to this day, but the sketches in Chespirito were far more clever, especially those episodes made during the 90s.

Even as a kid, I considered el Chómpiras, Sargento Refugio and la Chimoltrufia the funniest characters ever created by Chespirito. Other segments, like los Chifladitos y Don Calavera were pretty fun too.

Better than some sitcoms.....

Grade: 9.5/10

This "sketch-based" comedy, is better than some recent sitcoms, and why is that?, because "Chespirito" show, "white" comedy, is for kids, but mature kids, because has some political jokes.

Roberto Gomez Bolaños, is one of the most important comedians in Mexican history, in my opinion is in the Top-10 of Mexican comedians.

His sketches are based on their most known characters, El Chavo (the kid), El Chapulin Colorado (the red cricket), Chompiras(this is not a word). These characters are really funny and make a good physical comedy.

This successful show was seen around the world and translated to Chinese, Russian, french, English and Italian. If you have a chance to see it in TV, please don't touch your remote, I know you will enjoy it.
