As the title suggests, the new Marvel Vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics brings together the products of many years of collaboration between the two companies, although some people may still be wondering if the collection itself is actually worth purchasing. Marvel Vs Capcom Fighting Collection features a total of seven titles originally released as arcade games, including some that have never been ported before. However, a game cannot rely on nostalgia alone for success, and factors like the collections new features are key in deciding if it is worth the price.
The release of Marvel Vs Capcom Fighting Collection, which will doubtlessly introduce many to some of the earliest Marvel fighter games for the first time, has fuelled hope for some that it help to lay the groundwork for a full new Marvel Vs Capcom game. It is also worth noting that the collection provides people with the opportunity...

Among the many fun details in Dead Rising Remaster, one of the most standout features is the sheer number of Easter eggs and references to other Capcom franchises scattered throughout the mall.
This massive Japanese studio has packed this game with nods to various IPs since its original release in 2006. For instance, the game features several references to Mega Man, Resident Evil, Street Fighter, and other well-known Capcom titles.
This remaster also modernizes some characters for contemporary audiences, making minor adjustments from the original version. Here are some of the most significant Easter eggs in Dead Rising Remaster.

On the heels of the launch of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, Capcom has turned to fans to gauge what title from their back catalogue they’d like to see get the “deluxe remaster” treatment next. The survey is currently available from now until October 18, and along with answering the survey, will nab you a digital wallpaper just for participating.
The first couple of questions are expectedly focused on Dead Rising itself, asking fans what other titles in the series they’ve purchased, where they heard about the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, have they played it, and so on.
The kicker questions happen at the end, with the first being if you would like to see more “deluxe remaster” titles like this in the future, with “deluxe remasters” being defined as remasters with improved playability and updated graphics, including new 3D models. The follow-up question lists off select series from Capcom...

Classic game publisher Capcom plans to update some of its most beloved titles and release them on new consoles and computers. The company, known for hit fighting franchises like Street Fighter and Darkstalkers, wants more players to experience its retro games.
Capcom producer Shuhei Matsumoto said at a recent tournament the developer listens to fan requests. “We have many fighting games from our past people really want us to re-release,” he noted.
Matsumoto explained preservation and accessibility motivate this effort. Gamers who missed the original releases could now play on current hardware. “We aim to make our history accessible to new audiences,” he said. This strategy may also set the stage for future projects building upon these franchises.
One game high on Capcom’s list is Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, famous for deep combat. When asked about a remaster, Matsumoto expressed excitement. He welcomes the chance for more players...

It’s a no-brainer that the battle in the early 90s arcade fighting game scene was between Capcom’s Street Fighter II and Midway’s Mortal Kombat. Lost in the shuffle with the other fighting games vying for players’ attention was another Capcom fighter in Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors. The horror-centric fighter was able to ride the wave of Street Fighter II‘s popularity, but obviously never hit the same level of success as the two main heavyweights. Yet despite that, it’s still very much a beloved series for fans of Capcom’s fighters, and even influenced the Street Fighter series with some of its mechanics and art style.

This past week, fans of the ever-popular Marvel vs. Capcom franchise saw one of their biggest requests finally come true. During the June 18th, 2024 Nintendo Direct stream, it was revealed that Capcom would be porting seven of its classic Marvel arcade games to the system, specifically from the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise.
The collection is the latest in a series of fighting game collections being released by Capcom, following one dedicated exclusively to Street Fighter and the other dedicated to some of their more forgotten series like Darkstalkers. It is the first time any new Marvel vs. Capcom has been released on home consoles in seven years.
Shortly after the announcement, it was revealed that the game would not be exclusive to Nintendo Switch but would also be released on PC via Steam and on the PlayStation 4 (backward compatible with the PlayStation 5). However, one major platform was missing: Microsoft’s Xbox platform.

Shueisha Manga Art Heritage, which specializes in the printing of high-quality anime and manga artworks, has unveiled its new limited-edition collection of One Piece prints penned by creator Eiichiro Oda. Customers will be able to choose between three variants: two new works and a faithful reproduction of a set of panels from the manga.
Per PR Times, under its Real Color Collection, Shueisha presents the "Wild Parties" series, described by the printmakers as: "Wild Parties can be interpreted as either a party where Luffy declares with a smile, 'It's a party!', or it is a rowdy gathering of both allies and enemies. They fight, eat, drink, have fun, listen to music, and play games -- and they play for keeps." There's a lot more than meets the eye to the latest series of Kotobukiya Transformers statues.
Recasting the classic robots in disguise in the style of anime girls, the Kotobukiya Transformers Bishoujo statues are easily the most glamorous collectibles this side of Cybertron. The latest statue to be revealed for the line is one representing the Decepticon Thundercracker as a young woman. The familiar color scheme of the classic "Seeker jet" is represented in Thundercracker's blue jacket and gray skirt. Her dark hair reflects the black head on the original design, with a yellow tie present in place of the jet's cockpit on the chest. The nonchalant fighter jet fashionista also sports a trendy bag resembling F-15 wings, complete with null-ray missile accessories and a Decepticon symbol.

Folks don’t usually associate the horror genre with fighting games, but the popularity of fan-made creations like TerrorDrome and the success of horror-based licensed characters in titles like Mortal Kombat prove that there is a market for this kind of hybrid experience. In fact, at one point there was a popular series of games that capitalized on monster movie thrills when coming up with its roster of supernatural fighters in what can basically summed up as a goth rendition of Street Fighter.
Naturally, I’m referring to Capcom’s Darkstalkers (also known as Vampire in Japan), a collection of arcade fighting games that were all the rage back in the 90s but slowly faded into obscurity as the pubic became enamored with three-dimensional action. And as other fighting franchises continue to expand their aging legacy well into the 2020s, I thought that this might be the perfect time to...
