That put me to tears...at the end when he came back to see her father sivasankara then finding out that he had passed away, then as prem leaving he did that cocaine sniff for kiss.... I had few small tears 😭

Moment later lal is breaking her neck which I thought I'll never see lal do as an actor. Since all I've seen him play as a hero

This is a Malayalam language film starring Shankar and Mohanlal. The film is celebrated as being Mohanlal's first mass release. He then went on becoming Malayalam film industry's most versatile and popular superstar till date. This film ironically also stands out as he plays a villain in his debut film!

The film story has nothing great to speak of. A jilted, sadist ex husband seeks revenge at any cost. Hence the villain's character had to be played with conviction which Mohanlal does. Shankar also plays his role well, first as the romantic, then as heartbroken and later full of rage. Due credit to him too.

An average watch but for the lead performances.
