Heidi Klum at an event for Le plan B (2010)
Inside the NYC Penthouse Where Heidi Klum and Her Clones Got Halloween Ready
Heidi Klum at an event for Le plan B (2010)
Heidi Klum is known for throwing incredible Halloween parties, and for going above and beyond with her own spectacular costumes. The last few years have seen her transform into a cartoonish Jessica Rabbit, a giant butterfly and a startlingly realistic old lady. This year, for her annual fete on Halloween night Klum “cloned” herself, appearing with five remarkable lookalikes in identical beige-and-white bodysuits and thigh-high boots.

The surprise costume certainly required fewer prosthetics than the supermodel has used in the past: “It’s not all that glamorous. Last year, I was Jessica Rabbit, it took two hours to disassemble that,...

Ted Cruz Channels Michael Douglas in The American President to Defend Wife Heidi Following Donald Trump Feud
Heidi (1995)
Ted Cruz may have just proven he's a major movie buff. During Wednesday morning's CNN interview, Cruz quoted a line from the 1995 film The American President, starring Michael Douglas, to defend his wife Heidi following his latest feud with rival Donald Trump. Trump slammed Cruz on Twitter Tuesday, threatening to "spill the beans" about Heidi after he accused the Texas senator of creating a meme with a nude photo of Trump's wife Melania from her 2000 British GQ shoot. Ted Cruz literally lifted a line from The American President pic.twitter.com/BdG7Qcr4Ye— Lachlan Markay (@lachlan) March 23, 2016 Cruz responded...

The shows & films that made Britain fall in love with anime
From Marine Boy and Thundercats to Cities Of Gold and Akira, we look at the TV shows and movies that introduced the UK to Japanese anime

One evening in 1994, the BBC screened a documentary simply called Manga. Presented by Jonathan Ross, it showcased the rising popularity of Japanese animation, largely focusing on the output of Manga Entertainment, whose dubbed VHS releases had made a huge impact on anime fans and caused a certain amount of consternation among the mainstream press.

For British viewers, the anime boom took a long time to arrive. In America, Japanese shows like Kimba The White Lion, Gigantor and Astro Boy were a common sight on television in the 1960s, yet it took until the late 70s and 80s, and a string of European-Japanese co-productions, before anime finally began to find a hold on UK television.

As a youngster at the time, I didn't necessarily know...

2014 Melbourne Underground FIlm Festival: Official Lineup
The theme for this year’s Melbourne Underground Film Festival is “Evolve Or Die,” so thank God that after 15 years, the fest has decided to evolve rather than kick the proverbial bucket.

What does “evolution” look like for Muff? For starters, this year is a much more stripped down festival. It runs Sept. 12 – 19 at a single location — The Backlot Studios.

Muff usually features a healthy retrospective section, but they decided to spin that off into a separate event that will run in a month or two. Instead, Muff 15 is all about new cinema, with an even stronger focus on Down Under cinema.

Opening Night: Start Options Exit was originally conceived by local co-directors Chris Mitchell and Yoav Lester as a web series, but was subsequently edited together as this outrageous comedy about a pair of degenerates stumbling through the seedy underbelly of Melbourne.

Closing Night: Acclaimed Melbourne cult filmmaker Stuart Simpson...

Katy Perry at an event for Katy Perry: Part of Me (2012)
Katy Perry was spotted looking fierce in Berlin for her Killer Queen fragrance launch early Wednesday.
