The show aired on 23 November 2003 was originally taped in 1999. Broadcasting network WDR refused to show it at that time because guest star Cherno Jobatey was offended and left the studio after the hosts had made a joke aboout his dyslexia.

One of the best German TV shows I've seen!

"Zimmer Frei" is an original TV show where the weekly guests try to convince the audience to give them a room in the living community consisting of the two hosts Götz Alsmann and Christine Westermann. All I can say is that if you get the chance to watch it, don't hesitate! The hosts are great, the games are really funny and the comedian Cordula Stratmann is sooooooo hilarious! If the guests are cool as well (which is not ALWAYS the case) you will get to see a show where you can learn a lot about the guests and laugh your head off. I love it :o)
