- Three sisters Olga, Maria and Irini around at the age of 45. Daughters of a judge, grown in one two-store house that now belongs to the youngest sister, Eirini. When Olga gets married and Maria does the same, they grow apart for about 20 years, until Olga gets widowed and Maria leaves her husband after his adultery. The sisters then, return to their family residence. The name "Harites" was taken partly from ancient Greek mythology (The Three Graces) and partly from their surname, which was "Haritou".
- Three adult sisters of the Charitos family have a somewhat awkward co-habitation after decades of living apart. Olga is the eldest sister and she owns an antique store. She is a widow and she has a young adult daughter, Teti. She was planning to settle back in her family's ancestral house until the construction of her new residence could be completed. After a number of setbacks, she has no intention to leave the family house. Maria is the middle sister, an advertising executive. Her marriage ended after she discovered that her husband was cheating on her, and she decided to move in with her sisters. Irini is the youngest sister, and works as a public servant. She has never married and her love life was apparently disastrous. She had full control over the ancestral house for decades and she was used to living alone. She has a tendency to daydream, but she wants everything to be clean and organized. Her sisters do not share that obsession, which leads to frequent arguments.—Dimos I
