A Woman Is Born Twice...

An enthralling cinematic journey of self discovery from Director Yûzô Kawashima & actress Ayako Wakao... I really am at a loss for review words here, they seem so inadequate, superfluous, non-essential also is knowing beforehand any plot details, I didn't & I am not giving anything away... For me the collaboration of the two distinguished names alone are enough to seek out this classic film. Beautifully composed, captivating from start to finish, profoundly pensive a masterwork of Classic Japanese Cinema art.... Highly Recommended !!
