All scenes with Randolph Mantooth were directed by Damian Lee. He was not involved in the re-shootings with Jim Wynorski.
Producer Jim Wynorski had to re-shoot about forty minutes of footage in three days.
Phoenician Entertainment / Franchise Pictures went through three editors and two directors trying to "fix" the film without any re-shoots. Eventually, about 40 minutes of the original 100 minutes from Damian Lee's assembly was replaced with 40 new minutes of new connective exposition and action sequences to make the film seem cohesive, as well as stock footage from Phoenician titles and some bigger theatrical movies.
Filmed over a short period of 14 to 18 days, plus 3 days of intensive re-shoots and additional photography.
Initially pre-sold under the title "Captured", the project originally had a different storyline on the sales sheet although it seems a full screenplay was not written (according to Kevin Bernhardt).
