Pretty much funny but that's all...

Jet Set is a kind of funny movie, you can enter in the private world of the jet set with suburban's nerd who want to make their pub fashionable. Actually there is nothing in this movie except the wonderful Lambert Wilson acting perfectly and playing a real bastard. Maybe Ornella Mutti is good but we don't see her much... just watch it if you want to laugh a little and see real frenchie's jet-setter... take pop-corn and rent Jet-Set 2 to see the pleasant José Garcia and not the awful Samuel Le-Bihan and his stupid face...

Enjoy!

Nice try, but

This is a decent movie, but it's weighted down by a lot of sentimentality. The advertising for this film was great, and the central idea - the banlieues join the jet set - could have made a nice little farce. High points are the brightly lit party scenes, especially one set at St. Tropez.

Wonderful performance from Lambert Wilson

Since no one else has commented on this movie I thought I'd leave my impressions. This is a comedy in a similar vein to "La verité si je mens". Although not as well done as "La verité etc", it is still quite enjoyable with a magnificent, out of character Lambert Wilson. Better than the vote would suggest.
