80 minutesof quarrelling

The "love-stoty" Darker than night / Svartere enn natten, is about the challenges realtionship between a couple which are masters of bad quarrels. And awful love story by Norway's worst filmmaker couple Svend Wam and Petter Vennerød. The stoty is full of badly written dialog when this couple argue over everything and everywhere. They fight at the bus stop, home, in restaurants, and sometimes they make love. Wam and Vennerød made social realistic films, and this couple is kiosk attendant and garbageman. The final of the movie is worth watching, though, as and insane ending to it all. Maybe Wam and Vennerød's least interesting film.

Masterfully awful and bad love story by Norway's baddest filmmakers ever. A seventies couple argue incessantly over the banal and the trivial for 90 minutes. They fight at the bus stop, they fight in restaurants, man oh man, they fight just about everywhere! He is a garbage man and she works at a kiosk. How thoroughly involving. This is social realism at its very worst, and it's an insult to other actors to call what the two leads do in this film "acting" Only worth watching for the ending in which the husband thankfully strangles the wife while screaming : (in Norwegian of course, but now translated for your viewing pleasure)
