I watched this soap opera in 1995 and despite being filmed 10yrs earlier, it got the addiction of almost every elite in my country. It was translated to English and aired on television. Till, date, i still seek to find an Englsih version to re-watch the suspense filled romantic and beautiful story that entertained me as a teenager.

I don't find this telenovela good. Perhaps it was good in 1985, but when I saw it in 2000 I found it rather bored, difficult to remember all plot's turnings (it was very many events connected the mystery and some other aspects). By the end I did not understand who knows what and about whom. Salvador Pineda does not suit the telenovela. Andres Garcia perhaps considered one of the best Mexican actor but in this telenovela he looked like frozen. The Raquel's father was always drunk and going with his drunk friend Chucho. Brrr! The Raquel's sister, Marta Samoniego, was only I liked. The music is rather good: Don Corazon la-la-la.

I loved this novela back in 1985 and was happy when I found it back during the pandemic. Its short for telenovela but its one of the reason why I love it. It stucked to the story without adding mid way and bringing new stories to the original story. Its, intriguing great story without prolonging just to make it longer. I find the entire cast to be great actors and very natural. Gorgeous Andres Garcia very natural loved his acting. The beautiful Lucia Mendez was also very natural. Salvador Pineda, exceptional villain, Very credible. All around great novela to watch.highly recommend.

When Raquel, a young a beautiful girl from the Mexican Countryside comes to Mexico City and stumbles onto the Lombardo Family she is instantly taken in by the handsome Antonio who is suffering from a memory laps, and his step brother, Max. I don't remember much about this awesome soap opera by Maria Zaratini, only that it was spectacular. If you can ever find this series, watch it. Very very addictive. No better series will ever come out of Mexico.

This is "the" modern soap opera. Everything is in there from the very beginning. Mystery, crime, adultery and of course... beautiful people and ... love. Andres Garcia as the leading guy, Antonio Lombardo, is impossibly great : what a body, what a voice, not to mention his mesmerizing eyes!! Salvador Pineda, who plays his half-brother and rival, is also very worthy as the classical villain. Lucia Mendez is... Lucia Mendez : the heroine who falls in love with the character played by Pineda. As soon as she marries him, she discovers that his husband has used his half-brother's identity just to kill him and inherit him. As the victim survives and momentarily loses his memory, confusion, deception and new romance is in the air... First actress Martha Guzman deserves a special mention as the very touching mother who struggles between her feelings for his spoiled but real son and her duty and deep love for his step son. Filmed partly in beautiful Mexican exteriors, this soap opera opens the way to a new generation of "telenovelas".
